This stunning, OCEANFRONT home was completely gutted and rebuilt with tremendous character and attention to detail in 2013. Beautiful custom features and design throughout! Enjoy incredible ocean views from the spacious family room with TV and attached, over sized deck on the main floor. Need some peace and quiet? Escape to the media room with TV on the second level to enjoy that favorite novel or slip out on to the attached deck to enjoy the amazing coastal scenery. The spacious and beautiful kitchen comes equipped with a stainless steel 48" GE Monogram six burner stove, two ovens, a griddle, two dishwashers and a large kitchen island that seats six. The adjacent dining table seats 10. Other interior features include; a wet bar with wine cooler, two masters with magnificent showers, one with wood planked vaulted ceilings and a champagne bubble tub and large three head shower, a bunk room with wood planked vaulted ceilings and four bunks, each with their own reading light and cubby, a large laundry room and central vac, beautiful wood floors and ceiling fans throughout. This is a wonderful vacation home! Great location, plenty of space (we had a group of 11 adults). I would definitely recommend and would love to rent it again! The only downside was that we had to strip the beds which I thought was a little odd given we were already paying for a cleaning service and had to check out by 10am so we felt a bit rushed.

We really enjoyed our time at 2408. However I'd agree with others that for this price, one would expect beach towels and chairs, and perhaps even some beach "toys". House is right along the public access to beach, so not very private in that regard, and we did have a few people "pop into" the pool uninvited. But overall great space, well appointed kitchen, great for a crowd.

The house itself is really amazing - beautifully renovated, great, comfortable furniture, GORGEOUS porches, TONS of space, great bedrooms - all of them, with amazing bathrooms (which is so, so nice for groups)... great location. I can't imagine you can get much better than this. Given how nice the house is, we were surprised to find it missing a few amenities. These are minor but, for as expensive as it is...: No beach towels or chairs (seems odd, for a beach house), no hair dryers, no salt/pepper/olive oil/coffee filters to start, no dish towels, the grill was so dirty that we opted to only use the upper shelf... a few minor details like that. My only other comment (I own a beach rental house, so I think about these things a lot when staying other places) is that having a 10am checkout AND a list of things that needs to be done by the renters (stripped beds, running dishwasher etc...) seems silly to me. You basically lose your last day. I never had my guests strip their beds... it seems excessive in a house so expensive to me. Either give a later checkout (noon) and expect people to help out or give the 10am checkout and just let people leave. Asking people to get the house together and be out by 10am makes your last morning kind of a lost cause.

While we understand that 10am is a little early to depart, for a house this size it is the minimum amount of time we need to have it cleaned properly and ready for the next guests by 4pm. What a great house. Clean, modern and plenty of room. We rented the house for a golf trip with 10 men and it met our needs perfectly. Great inside and outside living space - and great access to the beach. We didn't realize that Isle of Palm was quite as far as it was to Charleston, but really its on a $20 uber away. Great house, I'd come back here again with my family as well. Management company was exceptionally easy to work with as well, no hassles.
