This is a 5-room seasonal home located on a quiet, wooded lot, 300 feet from beach. Bashan Lake is one of the state's best lakes with crystal clear water, great for swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, waterskiing, sailing. Beach has dock and mooring for a boat. The house is very comfortable, with fully applianced kitchen, flat screen TV, DVD, Wi-Fi and cable. There is 1 queen, 1 full, and 2 twin beds. There is a rear deck, fire pit, charcoal grill and gas grill, and an enclosed outside hot and cold shower and changing room.
The Fall is also a great time to visit with the beautiful foliage, biking and hiking trails, and the many interesting places to visit.
Formerly, this was the owner's cottage. See for yourself the fun that you and your family can have by being on the lake!

We were fortunate to be able to spend the summers at Bashan Lake with our three sons, who, growing up, had the opportunity to learn how to swim, boat, ski, jetski, and explore the wonders of nature at this wonderful, crystal clear lake.
In 1988, we totally rebuilt the cottage, adding a second floor with an additional half bath. Loving the lake and the quiet surroundings, we moved down the street and made this our permanent residence in our retirement - and we love it!
Frank purchased this cottage in 1979
We chose this lake due to the water quality, no restrictions on boating or watercraft, and the fact that this location was only 40 minutes from where we lived to being in the country.
Staying here in the summers, our sons had the opportunity to learn all types of lake activities, and to help out with farming with the local farmer and learn about country living.

Yes, love my Hilton Diamond membership but ...
Frank and Connie are fabulous! You are part of the lake community right off of the bat. Clean, a cottage, ownership is so professional and friendly. Deer and woods and turkey etc. A perfect story. I want to go back again. (I checed age 55+ but I am fit so the hill living and stairs were just fine.)
My family (3 generations) and I have rented this cottage for the past two summers and have just booked it again for two weeks this 2014 season. The cottage owners Frank and Connie are wonderful people and the cottage has totally exceeded all our expectations. It is very clean, comfortable and well-equipped with a kitchen, dining room, living room and walk out deck on the first floor. The upper bedrooms are bright and cheery with a bathroom on both floors. Best of all the cottage is a short walk to the water (no fear of little ones walking out the front door and into the water) and is located on the back cove of the pristine lake. A very quiet and beautiful area of the lake with a silky sand walkout to the water. Great for younger ones to swim and play. A short swim or float across the cove brings you to what I like to call a private mini lagoon where my grandchildren love to wade and swim in the sandy, ankle deep water. Very nice. Every day spent at this lake house whether swimming, boating, fishing or just laying out on the sandy waterfront, has been a memorable time for myself, my wife, children and grandchildren, and we are looking forward to returning this year. Thank you so much Connie and Frank...
