Great location in Nice
Rommelyn was very helpful at checkin and spent time explaining the apartment and the local area. The apartment was perfectly located in the old city and close to everything. It was exactly as described and our stay was very comfortable. Showers were hot and beds very comfy. We would stay here again when visiting Nice.
Old Town digs
We enjoyed this apartment in Old Town. Among its charms is its proximity to the flower market, which is 2 blocks away.
It has high ceilings, tall windows, feels spacious and has all the comforts of home. The upstairs loft bedroom has the queen sized bed and is great for quiet sleeping after long flights. We were promptly greeted by YNA and brought upstairs and given a thorough run down on all the equipment.
We were 2 but this apartment would comfortably sleep another 2 in the downstairs bedroom.
Nice is a great walking city, and this apartment is perfectly situated for touring.
Very good standard and many extras considered such as beach equipment, and plenty of space.
This is the first time we have been to the south of France and this property is an excellent base in the centre of the old town. We loved the location, the facilities such as 2 bathrooms and plenty of space, and all appliances easy to use, but we found the upstairs en suite very hot due to the air conditioning unit in there. Despite this, we would definitely recommend this property for others looking for a great base, with high spec contents, from which to explore the wonderful city of Nice, as there are so many great shops, parks and restaurants locally and it is easy to get about using public transport.
Comfortable, spacious and charming!
We stayed at the Le Dome apartment for four nights in mid June. This apartment was our favorite of the four apartments we rented while traveling through France. The apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and well located in the old city of Nice for the four of us. All appliances worked well, including wifi, and the apartment is well represented by the pictures posted on VRBO.
The streets are pedestrian only in the old city, close to the beach, with many restaurants and markets from which to choose. The streets are also lively throughout the night. If you are sensitive to noises, you may want to bring ear plugs.
Insure that the ‘on arrival’ meeting with the YNA rep is coordinated well. We arrived at the apartment after office hours and the contact numbers provided were of no use after 5:00 pm. We were provided the apartment address, but not the specific apartment number. All turned out well and the representative [who had been waiting in the apartment] was friendly and informative. It is offered here as a cautionary tale for all rentals with VRBO: ensure that you have the full address, after-hours contact numbers, and a plan for your on-arrival meeting which includes contingencies.
None of the challenges of our arrival should take away from the actual rental property. It was a comfortable and inviting home-base for our daily excursions on the Cote d’Azur.
A lovely apartment in old town. I wouldn’t stay in any other area.
Perfect for the four of us, but could have slept one or two more on the sofa. Lovely apartment with lots of charm and in a great location!
Property was lovely. We enjoy apartments in the old town and this is another we would recommend.
Whilst we enjoy going out in the old town to eat , therefore don't do a lot of cooking in the apartment , it is lovely to be able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast after purchasing the fresh bread, fruit and cheese from the market or locally from bakeries. Local transport is very affordable and we took the train to Monaco and the bus to St. Paul de Vance. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this central apartment in the old town.
Nestled on a charming street in the Old Town between the picturesque Place Rossetti and Place du Palais. This is the central hub of the old town and seconds away you will find the Cours Saleya with it’s flower, food and antiques market and many restaurants and also the Promenade and beach. The bus station is approx. a 5 minute walk. The Port area with its fabulous restaurants and Antique quarter is a 10 minute walk along the picturesque Promenade. Across Place Massena central Nice is 5-10 minutes away and is not to be missed for its stunning Nicoise architecture and of course, shopping!
