Nice, relaxing, comfortable apartment with everything we needed.
This apartment is a really well designed, efficient use of space with very comfortable furnishings and tasty decorations. We enjoyed ourselves, felt safe, and had easy access to the red line in the subway/“L”. Took advantage of a Starbucks a couple of blocks away, but mostly used the Keurigs in the apt - they provide a re-usable filter so brought coffee and sugar and cream. Whole Foods about 3 miles (?) - not far by car. Parking was fairly easy - street in back allows parking on both sides - but a couple of nights drove around to find a space. Two nights parked across the main street but not a big deal. We emailed to say the shower water temp was warm, but barely, and asked if they could increase the temp - they came later that afternoon and let us know what they did - it was much better! Greatly appreciate their responsiveness!!
Thank you for your feed back. We really enjoyed your staying with us and hope you will come back for another visit.
I am not sure why the GPS directed you so far away for the Whole Foods. There is a store location at Broadway Street and Thorndale Avenue. Its only about a half mile away and a relaxing 11 minute walk east through the neighborhood or a 3 minute drive.
There are some great restaurants and eateries on that section of Broadway: Cookies and Carnitas, Moody's Pub, Broadway Cellars, Mas Alla Del Sol, The Growling Rabbit (Vegan), Lickity Split (Ice cream and frozen Custard) and many more interesting place.
The Thorndale train stop is just around the corner so you can combine your shopping with a trip downtown or to the Ball Park. There you will also find Veranda Pizza and Coffee. Worth the walk.
Lane beach, the northern end of the longest stretch of is just another 4 minutes east and the LA Fitness is just north of the Whole Foods.
Thanks again for your visit and please keep us in mind if you are back in Chicago!
All the best,

Location and Everything You Need!
We had a great stay at this apartment. The location was perfect! The entire place was clean and nicely decorated. It's not too often you find a comfortable bed as well! Yes, you can hear the neighbors above you at times, but that is life in an apartment. It wasn't enough to disturb us. The neighbors across the way were friendly. We will be booking again at this location for our next stay!
Good place for a great price
Great decor, well-stocked kitchen, good location: this apartment has everything you need. Owner is very responsive and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Also there's a lot of attention to details (providing colorful cloth napkins, spices...that kind of thing) that really enhance one's stay. I highly recommend.
Thank you so much for the kind words and endorsement! We really enjoyed hosting you and hope that you will choose to stay with us on your next visit to Chicago.

Loved the neighborhood & the people!!!
Close to Wrigleyville. Great restaurants close by. The property was really nice!! We enjoyed the area immensely.
Spacious, clean, and quiet!
My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) stayed in this property for 2 nights over a weekend in late September. The building was very easy to find, but we were confused about where to use the first door code and the directions weren't super clear as to what floor the apartment is on (2nd floor). Also, the door code is tricky if you're not used to using codes instead of keys. However, once we figured that out, it was smooth sailing. We drove to Chicago, and street parking was easy to find. The apartment was big for a 1-bedroom and it had everything we needed. The apartment is about a 10-minute walk to the red line, and there are plenty of bus routes around, too. The neighborhood is very quiet and well-maintained, with a drugstore down the street as well as several restaurants to choose from. We would definitely stay here again.
A great apartment in a great neighborhood
A fine small apartment, made to feel roomier by a wall of windows looking onto the leafy street. Cleverly designed to maximize use of the space, with quality materials and nice finishing touches. Shower only, but a spacious one. The bedroom has a large lighted closet that will accommodate everything you bring. The living room couch doubles as a comfortable single bed. Everything you need to lounge, cook, surf, read, eat, and store food. Entrance via a wooden staircase and landing in the back of the building; front is kept locked and is very secure. Andersonville has lots to explore, and we went daily, easily, to our other destinations by Uber. Nearby groceries, pharmacies, restaurants, clubs, and casual eateries. An easy train ride to Midway. I really enjoyed staying here and recommend it highly for up to 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.
