Beautiful 3 level cabin with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The basement is currently unfinished. Our plans do include finishing this in the years to come.

Main Level

This is the level that you will enter the cabin. There is a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room, tranquil bedroom with closet, spacious bathroom with laundry closet and Jacuzzi tub, and balcony styled porch overlooking creek.

Loft Level

This level includes a relaxing bedroom with a walk in closet, a beautifully decorated bathroom and peaceful loft seating.

Lower level

This level is accessible; however it is not decorated or finished. However it is great for accessing back yard and preventing tracking mud etc into main house.

Both bedrooms have a queen bed, night stand, dresser and a high back chair.

The loft area has a sofa, end table, and high back chair.

The living room has a recliner sofa, arm chair with ottoman, coffee table, TV table with TV, DVD player and Direct TV. Also has a game cabinet with board games, DVDs, and local attraction information. The phone is located on the game cabinet. There is also a stacked rock fireplace in the living room.

The kitchen includes a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster, refrigerator, as well as dishes, pans, and utensils. The kitchen area includes a table that seats six. The refrigerator does not include water and ice in the door.!

The bathrooms are stocked with towels, hand towels and wash cloths. The main level bathroom includes a standing only shower and a whirlpool tub. There is a washer and dryer in the bathroom closet. The loft level bathroom has a standard bathtub and shower combo.

The back porch of the main level has 4 wooden rockers. There are pillows in game cabinet for porch rockers.

There is a fire pit out by the large rock overlooking the creek.

The cabin is located in a convenient area. Brasstown is in between several tourist spots. The cabin is just minutes from a few local small businesses. The John C. Cambell Folk School is also only a few minutes away. We do offer a discount for students of the folk school. Ask for more information. There is so much to do around the area. There is hiking, rafting, horseback riding, canoeing, golf, zip lines and so much more. We often enjoy the shopping. There are so many antique shops around. The general area has such artistic talent that there are many things to see and do.

About SUZANNE OSMER

I live in SC and work as a RN at Palmetto Health Baptist in Columbia. I have six wonderful Children and one great Husband. We live on a farm and do the best we can at being part-time farmers and full-time employees elsewhere. After we rented a Cabin back in 2010 we started looking for a place of our own. We looked long and hard before we found Bearadise. We are so happy that we did. Now we want to share it with you. So have a happy stay and Thank you for visiting Bearadise. :)

SUZANNE OSMER purchased this cabin in 2011

Why SUZANNE OSMER chose Smoky Mountains

We fell in love with the beautiful little town of Brasstown; the people are friendly and welcoming to their community. There are several activities for the children and adults. We had a desire to be on water and when we saw the beauty of this cabin and the creek frontage we were hooked.

Peaceful and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in this cabin - it had everything we needed for a quiet weekend, but it was also fun to take some day trips around western North Carolina mountain towns. Just sitting on the porch and listening to the creek was so relaxing. Thank you!

Stayed here while attending weekend class at John C Campbell Folk School. School is only about 2.5 miles away. We really enjoyed the stay. Nice to able to sit on porch and hear the stream. Enjoyed feeding the fish and watching the hummers. Just a very nice time all around, we will do this again.

Property is just what you like when staying in the mountains

  • 3 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is ideal and the creek makes this place extra special. The only problem is that I am trying to get in touch with Susan Osmer since the day we left because I lost my diamond wedding band. I sent two emails thru homeaway asking if she would be so kind as to respond to my plea for help in trying to locate my wedding band and haven't heard any response. Losing my wedding band has consumed my thoughts ever since I left. I have no idea why I haven't received a response and have no way to contact her besides this review so I apologize to everyone who must read this. Please Susan Osmer recognize my plea for any response whether the news is good or bad. All the links we communicated thru prior to our visit do not work any longer. Help! Lorraine & Robert stayed from 7-29 thru 8-7-2016
