Our bright and sunny loft has wrap around windows with stellar views of the Manhattan skyline, with a balcony! It sleeps 5 potentially and is super well located on a quiet street less than one block from the Subway that gets you to Manhattan in 10-15 minutes.
Amenities: They include high speed wireless internet, large flat screen TV across from the bed with a BluRay player, Apple TV and cable television. The bedroom has a beautiful queen sized bed. We say the place sleeps 5 potentially which means 2 in the bedroom, 2 on a large raised queen sized air bed, and 1 on the large L shaped couch. The kitchen is HUGE with a 12 foot granite island that is perfect for cooking, it can seat 12 or more people comfortably. We have a regular stove/oven, full size stainless steel fridge, toaster oven, microwave, espresso maker and french press, and a set of pots, pans and knives for you to use. We also provide fresh linens and towels. Everyone who sees our space agrees that it is one of the nicest lofts in the neighborhood.
Access: You'll have access to the entire space and its enormous kitchen, separate bedroom, great sound system, large flatscreen TV with blu-ray player and Apple TV. The space is very quiet, private and will be all yours to enjoy.
Neighborhood: Bushwick is one of Brooklyn's hottest neighborhoods with a world renowned art scene and tons of great restaurants and bars. Its exploding with street art right now (check out the Bushwick Collective) and people come from all over the world to see it. It has a perfect mix of amenities and culture and hasn't become over popular and overcrowded (yet). The space is near a bunch of art/theater spaces, and within a block or two there are lots of coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, a large 24 hour health food supermarket, and a wonderful neighborhood park just a 1/2 block away. We could go on and on but have a look yourself at the area around the Jefferson stop on the L train. If you're not familiar with Bushwick, check out the new guidebook we wrote to our neighborhood! If you scroll down our listing you'll see it, and this will give you a good idea of the awesome area of New York City that we live in.
Getting there and around: The space is less than one block from the Jefferson L train stop, which provides easy access to Manhattan (takes 10 to 15 min) or Williamsburg (5-10 min). Parking is also easy on our street. Its usually easy to find parking on our block which is a bit of a rarity in NYC. The space is also a quick 20-25 min cab ride from JFK or Laguardia, from JFK it is also easy to take the Subway here.
