A perfect stay in the Anchorage area
We had an absolutely delightful stay at the Abbott Loop house - it was just as we hoped it would be - quiet, clean, comfortable, and well stocked, complete with lots of extra touches which we really appreciated. The location was also perfect for us. It was an easy drive to the Potter Marsh which we visited three times and Chugach State Park and Turnagain Arm where we walked trails and saw beluga whales and dall sheep. It was also an easy drive to downtown Anchorage and restaurants. We had some good and fun meals thanks to restaurant suggestions provided by Paul and Darlene. The kitchen also was well equipped for us to cook and eat in, which we also did. It was a perfect home away for exploring the Anchorage area and we would definitely choose to stay again if we are fortunate to have the opportunity to return to the area.
We were delighted to host these guests and so happy that they enjoyed their stay in the house so much. We hope they can come again!!

Very clean home and safe neighborhood
Communications with home owner were excellent. Home was very clean and well furnished. One of our primary concerns having never been to Anchorage was that we ended up in a safe neighborhood and if that's one of yours too, you won't be disappointed with the location of this home. We would definitely stay here again!
And we would most definitely welcome back these great guests! Safety is such a concern when we travel to cities, too, so we have added good outdoor lighting and a deadbolt entry to make our safe neighborhood even better.
The home was nice and well equipped. It showed signs of being well taken care of. It was great to have a home to go to at night after our adventures around Anchorage. A hotel just would not have been as comfortable.
We are thankful for guests like this family that enjoyed the comforts of "home" and took good care of it, too!
Clean and Organized
This place was nice...it fealt like home away from home. Thanks for thinking about the all the small items thats needed in a house. It really made the stay comfortable!
So happy these guests had a great stay and we love to make it a 5-star stay for their Alaskan adventure!
Cozy, Quiet and Comfortable!!
We really loved our stay (party of 4) and couldn't have been more comfortable. There was a wonderful welcome basket with goodies and the kitchen, bath and laundry were well stocked upon arrival. We loved the beds and how quiet the location was. It was easy access to everything we wanted to do in the area. The backyard was lovely for sitting outside on nice days and neighbors were friendly. The owners are super responsive and made sure we were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again - thank you Paul and Darlene for making your place available to us!
And we really loved hosting these wonderful guests who took good care of our house on their longer stay. We like to exceed expectations to make their Anchorage experience that much better. We look forward to these guests next stay!
