Our family loves the Wasatch Mountains. We enjoy the skiing, hiking, biking and the beautiful scenery and wildlife.
Owner purchased this Condo in 2009
Why Owner chose Park City
The Condo is only 30 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. The Canyons offers world class skiing and snowboarding (top 10 resort in Ski Magazine ranking), and a wide variety of summer activities. Our family loves the variety of trails available at the Canyons. There are many Black/Expert and Intermediate/ Blue Runs as well as Beginner/Green runs that spread across over 7300 acres of terrain - the largest in the U.S.! The Canyons Resort is now interconnected with Park City Mountain and both are operated by Vail Resorts so, a single Epic ski pass is good at both the Canyons Resort and Park City Mountain Resort, providing access to over 7,300 acres of skiable terrain. You can ride the Frostwood gondola, just outside the front door of the hotel and ski to Main St Park City for lunch, which is over 3 miles away!
What makes this Condo unique
There is so much to do besides skiing! We love the restaurants, shopping, cultural activities, museums, and historic charm of main street Park City. In the summer months we can hike, raft, mountain bike, golf, horseback ride, go fly fishing, boating, water skiing, hang by the luxurious hotel pool and explore Utah National and State Parks to our hearts content. There are many festivals in the summer, concerts (many are free!) and other local events. Never a dull moment!

Nice place in a great area. Great service from the hotel staff and nice accommodations.
The property is stunning...the smores by the fireplace every night are just an added intangible that everyone loved. The views from this unit are amazing. The hot tubs are perfect for rehabbing those tired muscles from skiing. The beds are excellent. The kitchen is functional and well thought out. The porch has beautiful views of the Canyons and great afternoon sun. The Grand Lobby is stunning and Powder is an excellent place to eat. Beware though it is breathtakingly expensive, but most place here are as well. I would actively try to book this unit again should we ever return. Vacation time is what you will remember and this unit and hotel left a lasting wonderful memory for the four of us!!
Great Summer Retreat
We brought our 2 year old for a long weekend and were very pleased with the accommodations. You do have to pay an additional $35/day directly to the hotel for use of the amenities but it was worth it for access to the gym, pool and even nightly smores (which were such a cute touch). The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. It could have used a touch more cleaning/maintenance (there were multiple light bulbs out, the trash had not been emptied in one room when we arrived and I don't think they cleaned the kitchen floor as we kept finding bobby pins lying around). Not a huge deal, and we were overall very happy with the room. We rented a car but ended up taking the hotel shuttle into town most of the time, which was very convenient. The valet guys were very nice and even shuttled us in using the hotel cars a few times so we didn't have to wait for the shuttle. We weren't impressed with Powder or room service (they weren't terrible, but ok) but it's was nice to have the options right there in a pinch. Overall we loved our stay, the staff was lovely and the room was more than we needed. We look forward to returning.
Just ok for summer getaway
The condo was decent and the owners were responsive. Some of the things I did not like was the unit was anything but clean. The cleaning staff arrived quickly to rectify the situation however even after pointing out the filthy floors, dirty stove and dirty toilets, I had to walk them through the list a 2nd and 3rd time (which they still didn't have the floors cleaned). While we were there we had issues with the refrigerator, garbage disposal and one of the bathroom sinks not draining. I also did not care for the valet parking. We took the car out multiple times each day and it became burdensome tipping 3 and 4 times a day. Finally quit tipping daily and left an envelope for the bell staff at the end of the trip. I have rented houses on other mountain vacations and prefer the tranquility of being away from outlet malls and fast food restaurants. Nice for families looking for a a "pseudo" mountain vacation and I am sure it is convenient for skiing.
Chic and luxe 2 bedroom condo at Park City/Canyons
My husband and I went with our two teen sons the first week of April for a spring skiing break. Photos on website represented condo perfectly: bright, chic, clean with a very good layout. The two queen beds and king bed are luxurious and the rooms are good on storage. Condo has a great view to the outside courtyard and pool, which is quite pretty. The kitchen has just the basics. I wanted to try a ski condo at a top hotel because of the services offered, and this really worked out. The WA have a fantastic ski butler that came to our room within 10 minutes of calling to get my sons fitted on two different days (my husband and oldest came a day late). Everything fit great (!)and that experience could not have been easier. Ski valet also refunded us 2 days of rental when we opted to take a day off from skiing. Another pleasant surprise was the ski/boot room, which I didn't know was a feature of the hotel. There is someone there that will bring your ski boots to you and help everyone get organized before heading out to mountain. Ryan or Maddy would also take your skis out to the lift before you arrive, which is only 50 yrds. away, but nevertheless they will put your skis on a rack right next to the gondola--so you don't have to carry them. At the end of the day--leave your skis on that rack for them to pick-up! Unexpected luxury! The hotel has a good gym with complimentary fitness classes. I did a spin class, a bar class and a power fitness class. Since it was spring skiing, we didn't get out until after 10 am, so it was really easy to enjoy these classes. My oldest did some weightlifting/rowing and my husband stretched & did treadmill. The pool / jacuzzi is also fantastic, located in the center of the WA courtyard with a view of the mountains. We swam only once, but were out there about 1.5 hrs having fun. We did our breakfasts in the condo, but did have a delicious dinner one night at the hotel's Powder restaurant. You can eat of the restaurant or less $$ bar menu, both of which were delicious and something to satisfy everyone, including the kids. It is nice having a goodplace to eat last minute when you are tired and can just walk there...My last trip to Utah skiing was in March and I stayed at the Stein Erikson--that hotel is absolutely fantastic too but the WA is a lower altitude and PC is a better mountain than DV--so better skiing and sleeping at WA. Would def. stay at this unit again! Thank you! Mary
Another Great Stay at the Canyons!
We rented this condo for a guy's get away and had a great time. The condo was nicely appointed and had everything needed for a very relaxing stay. The full kitchen was great for making breakfast & a snack after skiing. The beds & furnishings are upscale & very comfortable. We used the free shuttle to Main Street for dinner each night which was a great convenience to avoid the hassle of driving. We also enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of skiing. I highly recommend this condo. The owners are extremely knowledgeable about the area & offered great tips. Most importantly, they are very easy to deal with and the condo exceeded my expectations.
