This house offers 4 bedrooms - there are 2 double rooms, both en-suite, a twin room and a further single room. One of the en-suite rooms is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.
The kitchen dining area is open plan and complete with all the amenities you would expect, including dishwasher, gas hob & electric oven. The dining area has seating for up to 8 people and leads into the sitting room through double doors - lots of room to spread out. Next to the kitchen there is a utility room containing a washing machine and separate dryer as well as a full size fridge freezer.
The house is very cozy, if you need it there is an electric log stove in the sitting room and of course, oil fired central heating.
The house is ideally suited for the outdoor enthusiast as a number of activities can be enjoyed such as cycling, hill walking, horse riding and the appetite for golf enthusiasts will be more than satisfied with variety of courses available.
The Cahersiveen Marina is just 5 minutes walk from the house which also makes it ideal as a base for Anglers. If you are a walker the Beentee Loop is right behind you, Cnoc na dTobar is a popular climbing spot and there are interesting historic sites, such as Cahergal & Leacanabuaile stone forts also in the vicinity.
Weather permitting you will be spoilt for choice with several beaches to choose from including blue flag beaches such as the White Strand, Kells and Ballingskelligs - all less than 10 minutes drive from the town.
Other local activities like sailing, and Skellig island trips all contribute to the variety that Cahersiveen and the Ring of Kerry has to offer. This is a great location to explore the Ring of Kerry or the Great Atlantic Way, or both!!
Valentia Island is just a ferry ride away and is renowned for its tropical vegetation, scuba diving and water sports.
Portmagee is the jumping off point for the Skellig trip - a once in a lifetime experience to visit a monastic settlement that is now a listed UNESCO heritage site. Waterville is also an accessible 10 miles away with the world famous golf links waiting for you, not to mention Lough Currane, which is a fisherman's paradise.
Or, for the less adventurous, you can chose to relax in the house or take a short trip to pass some time in one of the coffee shops or pubs in the area.
