Well Appointed and Welcoming

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was perfect - from the muffins upon check-in to the super comfy beds at night. It is a good home base from which to explore Asheville and the Biltmore as well as nearby Hendersonville and Brevard. It is minutes away from restaurants and shopping, however, feels like you are in the country when sitting on the porch with your coffee. We will definitely rent again when back in the area.

Peace and tranquility

  • 5 of 5

Thank you so much for sharing your home. I was in the area on business; and it was wonderful to be able to come "home" at the end of the day and not go into a hotel room. I had a friend travel with me; and she loved being able to sit out on the front porch, read a magazine and just enjoy the quietness of the area. And to top it off, I got to see a Brevard White Squirrel. Your attention to detail made this home a home.

A beautiful cottage in wonderful Western North Carolina

  • 5 of 5

Peggy and myself arrived the Mills River Cottage during a fall monsoon. Between downpours we were able to get our "stuff" into the cottage. We were so amazed that the host had made us feel so at home with their fruits/muffins and other things. The cottage was Southern Living showcase. Following our unloading we invited a couple of friends over to watch the Series.

They were taken aback at the cottage layout-everything being in its place.

Peg and myself came to the Mills River area to visit our children and grand children. The Cottage at Mills River was perfect for us.

Coming home to our beautiful mountains was so special. This cottage and the cottage proprietors made out stay over the moon and that is no exaggeration.

You folks are the best. Please don't change anything to your "Cottage" in Mills River.
