About Luke Follwell
Quintessence Farm has been home to me, my entire life. Over the years, the property has been upgraded to maintain its beauty. When needing a break from our busy life in Kingston, my family and I head to the farm for a little peace and quiet. Long soaks in the hot tub, cannon balls into the pool and a little chip and putt on the golf green. There are numerous amenities to keep everyone entertained. Q-Farm is truly our home away from home, and we look forward to sharing it with you!
Luke Follwell purchased this Chateau / Country House in 2009
Why Luke Follwell chose Tyendinaga
I have so many fond memories growing up on Quintessence Farm. Nights roasting marshmallows over the fire. Building sand castles at the playground. Basketball games in the drive way. Endless hours in the pool. These are just a few special amenities Q-Farm has to offer you and your family.
What makes this Chateau / Country House unique
Quintessence farm is very private and well kept. It is an easy commute to Downtown Kingston (45 minutes) and Prince Edward County (15 minutes). My family and I enjoy the quiet, seclusion the farm has to offer. When needing a break from city life, we head straight to the farm!

Perfect! Memories were made!
Enjoyed by everyone!
Fantastic place for large group, especially with kids
We had such a great time for New Year's weekend. There was only 7 of us and no kids, but we were pleased to see how well stocked it was and definitely plan to come another time with some friends with children. The kitchen and circular dining table is where we spend the majority of our time, and was absolutely perfect. We always bring our own board games but were pleased to see the farmhouse had it's own supply, also shuffleboard is so much fun! We were looking forward to taking advantage of the hot tub, but unfortunately the polar freeze prevented that. Looking forward to booking this place again.
Best family reunion ever!
We had a great time at the farm with enough space for everybody. We will definitely do this again one day. It was a memory my family and I will never forget. Thank you for the opportunity!
Charming rustic farm house!
All the amenities like home plus a great atmosphere to have a large group! Our hockey players will always remember our stay at this farm :)
Great old farm house for a girls weekend
We had a group of 7 girls do a tour of Prince Edward County and used the farm house as our gathering spot. It was not right close to the wineries and shopping but close enough.
There was ample parking for our four cars. The farmhouse had lots of room and a big kitchen for gathering in. The dining room had very little light for eating at night but we added candles and it worked out fine.
Luke was very helpful and came right away to clean the hot tub as we felt it wasn't very clean at first.
Everything in the house was clean and very well organized including towels and robes for the hot tub. The beds were comfy. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook and serve with.
The only issues we had were the hot tub on arrival and there was a smell of mildew in the main floor bathroom off the kitchen. I think it was in the shower but we didn't use it.
I would recommend this place for a family or a big group. It also has a pool which we didn't use and has lots of games and stuff for kids including two high chairs.
A Beautiful Getaway!
Our second time visiting Quintessence for an early fall retreat. It just keeps getting better. Beautifully kept grounds, comfortable house, and responsive/helpful hosts!
