In the heart of La Pointe, and a short walk from the Madeline Island Ferry landing the condo sleeps up to four in island comfort. The home offers one bedroom, one full bath, plus full kitchen, dining area and a view of Lake Superior and all the villages many attractions.
Unless you plan to dine out (there are several very good restaurants on the island and nearby Bayfield) you can bring provisions and cook meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Wine, a great cup of coffee and Marie’s signature cinnamon rolls can be purchased at Mission Hill Coffee just steps away.
Leave your car in Bayfield and bring your bike or drive to the Robert Trent-designed golf course and the marina. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we have enjoyed ours.

We are a family of 4 that stayed around the 4th of July. We planned on eating out and also cooking/grilling too. We brought a potable gas grill but you could also bring charcoal as there are areas such as Joni's beach and the State and town parks that have grills and picnic table available. There is a grocery store, but as expected, everything is a little more expensive on the island. We had a great time exploring on our bikes and by foot! We did the kayak tour from right across the street and had fabulous time with our tour guide Sam!! Lots to do and we would definitely stay there again.
This was our second year we stayed at this location in LaPointe and again we totally enjoyed ourselves. The condo is well kept up and very clean. It is in a great location. Everything is within walking distance. We hope to stay there again in 2017.
You can't beat the location of this condo! A few steps away from the ferry, several shops, Tom's burned down cafe, the beach club, Grandpa Tony's, and a short walk to a beach. You even get a nice view of Lake Superior! This was our first visit to Madeline island and we had a great time.
The condo itself was clean and had enough in the kitchen that we were able to make some meals there. The owner was very responsive and gave us some good info on the island. Would definitely stay here again!
Thank you for sharing your LaPointe Condo with us. We had a great 4th of July weekend. What a great location. We were just steps away from where the parade went through and had a great view of the fireworks displayed. The condo was very clean, nicely furnished and plenty of room. I am sure we will be back.
This condo has a great location! Just across the street from Tom's Burned Down Cafe (an eclectic bar) and the Beach Club! Within walking distance to everything, including the ferry, Joni's Beach, and kayak rentals. The owner was very responsive to questions, comments, concerns, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. One word of caution… the pull-out couch is old and not very comfortable for adults to sleep on. Definitely need a blow-up mattress if you plan to sleep 4! Also, bring your own shampoo/conditioner as there is none provided.
Thank you for sharing your downtown LaPointe condo with us. We spent Labor Day weekend there and had a wonderful time. The location is absolutely perfect and the condo is nicely furnished and roomy. Right downstairs is one of the best locations for cocktails and dinner, Cafe Seiche, you can't miss it! We will definitely be back.
