About Daniel Grasman

We are originally from Europe (France and the Netherlands)and decided to settle in the New York City but decided we needed a retreat from the city in the weekends. I went to school at Harvard and wanted an experience similar to Cape Cod.

Daniel Grasman purchased this estate in 2015

Why Daniel Grasman chose East Hampton

We fell in love with the house instantly because it feels like we are completely private yet minutes away from all villages in the Eastern Hamptons. We love the double-height ceiling in the living room coupled with the fire place. The 4-acre lot and adjacent nature reserve ensures peace and quiet. The house really feels like a retreat rather than a suburban or stereotypical beach community. We enjoy relaxing in the house, back deck around the pool or of course heading to the beaches nearby.

What makes this estate unique

Peace and quiet combined with convenience to all villages is ideal for people who enjoy the variety of easy access to Sag Harbor, Bridge Hampton and East Hampton. The jacuzzi is just outside the MBR and next to the pool.

Where do you live?

lovely, tasteful home in private setting

  • 5 of 5

This home was gracious and perfectly accommodated myself and my three young adult children. Furnishings are tasteful and outdoor space is perfect for relaxing with complete privacy. Is perfectly situated between Sag Harbir and East Hampton town with a five minute ride either direction. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Beautiful sunlit family home

  • 5 of 5

Our family of six spent four wonderful weeks in this lovely home during the summer of 2016. The interior space is spacious and bright and the setting is very private with beautiful treeline views from the backyard. The pool is in the sun for almost the entire day. Daniel and his wife were also extremely helpful and responsive as we got settled in. We left with many great memories !

We miss this property already!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for the July 4th holiday and miss this property already. The house and pool were immaculate and perfectly located. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen had all the amenities (we love to cook) and the BBQ and outdoor eating area were put to great use. The trees and flowers were stunning. The bedrooms were lovely with great views on the pool and morning sun. The owners, Dan and Kay, were incredibly helpful and responsive. We would certainly recommend to anyone looking for an idyllic retreat in the Hamptons. We have stayed at beach properties in Nantucket and Spring Lake, NJ and this experience has been our favorite. Our stay couldn't have been more perfect.

Little paradise in the forest

  • 5 of 5

This is a perfect place for a tranquil get-away at any time of year. The spacious and well-appointed house is pleasantly secluded in a forest surrounding the ample grounds, which is especially charming during the fall. The property is nevertheless very close to attractions in the neighboring Hampton communities and the beach… if you even wanted to go anywhere else! The house offers everything you could wish for and more, with a high-ceilinged family room, large dining room, even larger kitchen that should delight any chef, a vast garden and full swimming pool. A wonderful place for a family vacation.

Perfect Hamptons Getaway for a friends reunion!

  • 5 of 5

A group of friends coming from various parts of the country descended on the Hamptons in mid-August for what turned out to be a perfect and memorable week! This was my first time in the Hamptons and I LOVED it! Daniel & Kay were amazing and labored to make sure we had everything we needed before our arrival. This lovely home is nestled in a beautiful wooded area, which feels private but is close to everything you need (beaches, shops, etc). The house was stunning - beautiful chef's kitchen/dining room, spacious living room for relaxing, comfortable & chic bedrooms and a beautiful deck & outdoor pool. The pics are great, but the house is even better in person. I would highly recommend this home if you're looking for a beautiful getaway in the Hamptons.

What a gem!

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a stress-free vacation and we got it! Daniel and his beautiful wife own this place and it is bright, cheery, tastefully decorated with great amenities (my wife loved the kitchen!). We have been coming to the Hamptons for years and unless you go through some kind of apartment therapy, it's hard as a renter to feel at home right away. This one is a gem because it was love at first sight. So nice, so spacious, so cozy, so Hampton-ish! We had several guests staying with us and they were all quite impressed. Their kids preferred to enjoy the beautiful pool than go to the beach. Quite a statement. That was a stress-free vacation, and guess what? We god damned deserved it! Thank you Daniel. We shall return!!
