About Linda Walsten
We have lived in the Flahead Valley for over 40 years and have raised children and owned a businesses in the area. Hiking, skiing and enjoying Glacier Park and Flathead Lake are just some of the reasons we love this valley. We hike Glacier Park frequently and have many books, maps and pictures to share and help plan your Glacier experience. We hope, in your visit to our home, you will experience some of these amazing adventures.
Linda Walsten purchased this House in 1986
Why Linda Walsten chose Kalispell
The home is centrally located to the things we love to do. We are so blessed to be close to this impressive area. We couldn't have asked for a better setting to raise a family and enjoy life.
What makes this House unique
Recently we put in an in ground heat pool that many have enjoyed including our children and grandchildren. We have just finished our pool house, Fall 2012,which includes a sauna and changing room. The property is on 20 acres and surrounded by fields. There is privacy and views all around the house.

Sports & Adventure Activities
This home was the perfect property for our annual family vacation. The home had plenty of room for our group of 10. One of the biggest highlights was the pool. We spent time swimming and relaxing poolside after returning from Glacier National Park. We highly recommend renting this home.
Incredible place for a family gathering
We had an incredible time at Linda and Craig's home. They were available when we had questions - like where to grab lunch before check-in. The house fit our group of 8 people great and had everything we needed. The location is great, easy access to the park (Linda and Craig have great recommendations), Kalispell, Bigfork and many other areas to explore. The pool and the hot tub were used almost every day by the gang. This is definitely a place we'll keep on the short list of places to stay again.
Another good multi-family holiday.
This was our second time at this rental, and it did not disappoint again. We had 6 adults and 7 young children, and there was more than enough space for all of us. The pool was a welcome component as the weather was hot and sunny. The owners are very friendly and helpful when a few very minor things came up. The house was clean and ready for us at checkout. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for all three of our families.
This place was absolutely amazing and there was so much to do. The owners were so nice and very accommodating to our needs.
Great place for our group of six. Good location close to Glacier and very relaxing.
Our group of six stayed three night and loved the space and the clear skies. We spent two days at Glacier and one day around town. Very welcoming home with all the space and amenities we needed. It was somewhat cool, but the boys used the pool and the hot tub. The most amazing sunsets!
Wonderful log house near Kalispell!
Six of us stayed in this wonderful log home near Kalispell. Roomy, beautiful, comfortable. The weather was too cold for the pool but we made good use of the hot tub and sauna! One bedroom is on the main floor, good for people who don't do stairs. Two TV rooms, one in the upstairs loft and one down in the basement living area. Be aware, no TV in main floor living room, but we liked it that way. Country place but minutes to Kalispell. Great hosts, even fresh cookies when we checked in. We would definitely stay here again.
