About Julianna Kirwin

Your host is Julianna Kirwin. In my own travels I have preferred lodgings with style and history, so I restored this house to reflect it's original character yet maintain the comfort of today. The unique flavor of homes in the southwest is captured within the thick adobe walls of this house. You will enjoy the artistic quality and comfort of this New Mexico casita.

Julianna Kirwin purchased this house in 1984

Why Julianna Kirwin chose Bernalillo

Bernalillo is a historic town-one of the oldest settlements in the United States.

What makes this house unique

Enjoy eating at The Range, a wonderful restaurant within walking distance from my house. There are also unique gift shops, casinos, resorts and Native pueblos nearby.

Wonderful Casita , easy access to train, historic sites ,grocery store and restaurants,

  • 5 of 5

We are local Bernalillo residents. We and at least 5 different parties of family and friends stayed in this Casita . Julianna is a very graceful host and always available for any questions. Easy walk to the friendly people at The Range cafe (great live music , blues and jazz on Thursday night), the saloon and the grocery store. Also there is a funky antique store on the corner. V..V.

Great little place to stay in New Mexico.

Well located in the heart on New Mexico. Cute town and comfortable home. The only thing to be aware of is that the bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs.

Lovely comfy place

  • 4 of 5

Julianna was warm & welcoming. Her casita was just as advertised...which is not always the case with online rentals. Very comfortable, well stocked, located perfectly for day trips to Balloon Fiesta & Santa Fe. Will stay here again when our travels bring us to the Southwest.

Great house...convenient location.

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time & this house was delightful! We were so happy to get out of the Pacific Northwest weather for the month. The weather in NM was great...Juilianna did all she could to make sure our stay at her home was everything we could ask for. She's a great host & the house was very comfortable and in a great location. Would definitely stay there again...plus you can walk to the Range Restaurant...what more can you ask for?

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review! The feeling was mutual-I enjoy having thoughtful guests like you who treat my house like they would their own. Please come back to the Southwest! I'm glad our weather was so good while you were here. Thanks again for watering my outside plants. All the best!

Enjoyed our stay

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in Juliana's restored adobe casita! Spacious and well furnished with heated floor...clean and neat. Only negative is bedroom location upstairs (altho a nice spacious bedroom with excellent bed) and bathroom location on ground level. Bathroom also somewhat small. Location near Range Cafe a real plus...it's wonderful! We'll stay here again next time we come thru New Mexico. Very unique!
