This spacious 2 bedroom apartment is ideally located in the trendy North Park neighborhood of San Diego providing easy access to shops, restaurants and all the attractions that San Diego provides. Walk to the world famous San Diego Zoo or take a stroll through the museums and galleries of Balboa Park or take a short 10 minute drive to the Coronado, Mission Beach, Sea World, or the other broad beaches in San Diego where the the surf is always up and the sunsets red and romantic.

In the evening experience the local restaurants and bars within walking distance either in fabulous Hillcrest or in North Park featuring cuisine from all over the world including a number of vegan, vegetarian and raw restaurants. A short drive gets you to the all the hot spots in the Gas Lamp district or to the theater and symphony hall.

This property offers the ideal setting as a base to visit nearby attractions. Two large bedrooms offer comfort and privacy The master has a king bed with TV and DVD. The fully equipped kitchen provides all the amenities to cook a wonderful meal or simply to prepare some breakfast to enjoy.

Enjoy the Flat screen TV, WIFI and Blueray DVD player in the living room for those days and evenings when you just want to hang out. Large DVD Blueray library. Smart TV function so you can watch netflix, Hulu

The small balcony provides some nice roof top views to enjoy a morning coffee.

At the end of the street there is a public swimming pool and an athletic park Morley fIeld. Public Pool is open april through September its is called Bud Kearns memorial Swimming pool. Google it for information

Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property

Please note the gardens are private and for the main house use only. There is a permanent tenant in the front house please do not disturb or enter the gardens.

Excellent place within walking distance of Balboa Park

We stayed for a week July 5th to July 12th, 2018 and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the San Diego area. This place was the perfect location close to Balboa park, the zoo, the museums and botanical gardens among many other area attractions. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. There were even beach toys, beach towels, and folding chairs for the kids when we went out to Coronado island (saved us from having to buy the beach toys at the dollar store!). The host was absolutely perfect to work with and it was convenient to have a parking spot right by the garage in the back alley (parking on the street looked like it would have been a nightmare at times given the location near the park!). Thanks so much for a wonderful stay, couldn't have been better.

Nice place for a family

My family of 2 adults and 2 children stayed here 3/17-3/24 for spring break. Booking was easy and we found the unit as described. It was well stocked with all the necessities to make meals in the unit if you choose. The location was within 15-20 minutes of many of the popular areas in San Diego (Downtown waterfront, Zoo, Coronado, Mission Beach,etc). Off street parking was nice but can be a bit tricky. We had a full size impala and had to back into the spot. Pulling in was not an option with a full size car. Not a problem just something to be aware of when staying here. We were asked to be out by 10am in the email confirmation even though the listing states 11am check out. That should be updated on the listing if that's standard policy. The extra hour would have been nice with our afternoon flight. Again not an issue as we spent some time in Balboa park to pass the time before the flight. Overall a nice place to stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Great stay in a great rental!

We really enjoyed staying in this rental! Everything about it was perfect for our family of three (including a toddler): the location was great (plenty of great walking to parks and food); the neighborhood was safe and friendly; we found everything we needed at the apartment (brand new pack n play, high chair, abundant supplies of all of the necessities including movies for kids, etc); beds were really comfortable and the apartment was nice and quiet. There was also a private parking spot for us next to the apartment in the alley which was really convenient. Brian, the owner, was always responsive and helpful when we asked questions. We will definitely stay here again!! Thank you!

Outstanding Property, Great Location, Quiet, Comfortable, Clean, and Off Street Parking

We were very pleased with our stay at this property. It has off street parking which was an added bonus. It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. We cooked most nights and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals just like at home. The king bed was very comfortable in the master. Location was perfect for visiting museums in the Balboa Park area, visiting the San Diego Zoo and harbor. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Loved my stay!!

The place was just as described and pictured! It was super clean and very high class. The owners were really nice! I would highly recommend staying here! It is central for a choice of things to do, although I would recommend getting a rental car or uber to take you places. It is in a cute, quiet neighborhood & the neighbors are really friendly & helpful on suggestions of things to do. It comes stocked with fresh towels & things for the beach! There was nothing to complain about!
