This studio is super cute — the perfect place to land when you are done seeing every corner of the City. We are close to lots of fun stuff AND good public transportation.
Pristine studio apartment with fully-equipped kitchen, huge closet and backyard deck. Amenities include: full sized refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee maker; Queen-size bed with 500 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets; land-line telephone with free domestic calls; HD television with cable; Indoor space to store bicycles.
We are half a block from a sweet little park and adjacent to that, a wonderful cafe. You can get breakfast, lunch, dinner, a cup of coffee or a beer there (nice little selection of local brews on tap) until 10:00 pm most days.
We are close to transportation: one block from the 27 bus which takes you straight downtown, 15 minute walk to BART (no hills!) and easy access to taxis.
It's a short walk to 24th Street in the Mission, a very up and coming street known for it's restaurants (including the best taquerias in town), bars, cafes, bookstores and shopping. Or climb the Hill to Cortland Avenue, a lovely village within the City. Catch the breathtaking views of San Francisco at the top of Bernal Hill, just a 15-20 minute walk.

Jennifer: I am a Graphic Designer and avid reader. I walk Bernal Hill and do Zumba.
I have lived here for 20 years and love it. I have raised two children here.
I am excited to share our lovely little apartment and San Francisco with you.
Jennifer Keith purchased this studio in 1991
We enjoy living in the City. There are always 100+ things to do on any given day.
We really love living in the sunny part of town, with all the great restaurants and shopping, but San Francisco is a small city and everything is close by. We especially appreciate how there is good public transportation close by and many great places we can walk to.
We designed the studio to be a place we would love to stay if we were visiting San Francisco.
Nice touches were the coffee beans in the freezer, muffins and bananas on the table and milk, orange juice and white wine in the fridge, all complimentary. Jennifer also saved me.a lot of hassle by finding a paper clip so I could change sim cards. The bed is very comfortable.
As is the case with all wooden buildings (i.e. every building in SF) when people walk overhead, you can hear it. It was not exceptionally noisy here, but worth being aware of.
Really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and modern. Bed was very comfortable. Ideal for 2 people. Arrived to some snacks and a bottle of wine. Was able to use outdoor jacuzzi as well.Nice and safe location to explore surroundings. Lots of places to eat, even a little store across the street to buy snacks and wine/beer. Used Uber to explore the rest of San Fran which was really inexpensive, super easy and always quick. Jennifer was great, communicated with her regurlarly to ask for suggestions on things to visit or where to eat. She always responded within a few minutes and always had several good options to recommend. Would definitely stay here again!
Cute, very clean, with a really nice interior. All the details have been thought of - including a nice welcome note and goodies from our wonderful host Jennifer. The studio is long with a big window at one end that looks onto the garden. Fully stocked kitchen with a great little organic grocery store nearby. Fun neighborhood. Easy freeway access. Negatives? Only having a window at one end can make it a little dark, and you can sometimes hear muffled footsteps from above. These are minor compared to how well Jennifer has gotten the big things right. I have no hesitation in recommending this VRBO!
Very clean, well equipped studio style apartment located on the ground floor. It is well kitted out It has a bed, nice bathroom and kitchen area. There is a tv which has a large selection of channels that you view from the bed. It is quite small but is ideal for a single person or couple. Jennifer is very easy to communicate with and responded very quickly when arranging the booking. She lives in the apartment above, met me on my arrival, gave me the keys and made me very welcome. If you have a car it is sometimes difficult to park. I parked outside the front door for about 10 mins to drop off my food shopping bags as I couldn't find anywhere to park. When I came out I had a snotty hand written message on the windscreen from, I presume, a neighbour saying I had parked in front of their garage and it was NOT OK! There is a jacuzzi that is on the decking at the rear of the apartment which is available to use should you wish, that Jennifer and her partner also use. The area is very quiet at night though I could hear the people next door on occasions late at night or early in the morning. The apartment is in a safe neighbourhood, good location for accessing SF whether by car or using the BART. There is a grill diner cafe and corner shop just over the road next to a lovely park. Very nice place to stay.
Clean, cute & cozy apt in a quiet neighborhood. Great location for exploring Bernal Heights & Mission District. Owner provided treats upon arrival & responded quickly. Would love to stay here again.
