Perfect Home For a Large Group

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 13 enjoyed our recent stay at the Hobson-Rohrer home in Teasdale. Our group included two sets of grandparents, two sets of parents, and five children. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms that all could have their privacy, but still plenty of area for group gatherings. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, much more than other rental we've had in the past. The location made it ideal for quick trips into Torrey for supplies and for several trips into Capitol Reef. The grounds could use a few upgrades, as we were unable to let the smallest child out to play in the rocks and dirt. One additional item of note - the dog from across the street was very friendly and spent most of every day in the yeard of the home. They kids loved it. However, keep track of your belongings. We had to retrieve shows, a frisbee, and a stuffed animal that dragged back to his place while we weren't paying attention.

Our stay was great, Matt was very communicative, and we would highly recommend the place to others wanting to stay in the Capitol Reef/Boulder Mountain area.

Perfect place for my family to stay!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I got married in a small family-only ceremony near Capital Reef and wanted a place to house our family that we could also use for serving communal meals! This was the perfect place! The dining area accommodated all of us, my nieces loved the nintendo Wii and the younger kids enjoyed all the games and the swing set. My parents prepared two big dinners for everyone and had no trouble finding everything they needed in the well stocked kitchen. The house never felt crowded and was large enough for everyone to feel like they had a bit of their own space. In the end, only seven people spent the night at the house (b/c some people wanted even more personal space, though they later said if they had known how large the house was they would have just stayed there), but we regularly had 13 people hanging out in the house and it never felt crowded. Sharing the space really helped our families get to know each other. Matt was easy to work with and even accomodated our scheduling needs, allowing us to stay later than check-out time on Friday so the kids could nap. I would definitely rent this place again!

A "10"

  • 5 of 5

This home was perfect in all respects: cleanliness, ample room, location and amenities. We found an attractive, well stocked kitchen with plenty of natural light. A travel library of sightseeing books and an automobile sightseeing tour CD were available for use. These provided plenty of information and advice for our visits to the surrounding National Parks and monuments. The owners provided many amenities, such as shampoos, lotions, detergents, etc., that helped to make our stay more enjoyable. As a frequent traveler these accomodatios are definitely a 10.

Matt was extremely helpful when we found out we would be there a day early.

and with directions. teasdale has not caught up to google maps, just find center st

and go east you'll find it.

if you bring kids you can leave the toys home there are a lot of toy, games, bikes....

capitol reef is also great for kids. lots of easy hikes. our grandkids were ages 2-11 and

they all did, hickman bridge, chimney rock(with gusty winds, rain, sun, and snow) capitol wash,

cassidy arch, and drove to calf creek and did falls 6 mile hike.

Perfect family oasis

  • 5 of 5

This rental is the ideal VRBO experience. Dealing directly with a friendly and knowledgeable owner instead of a property manager is what this website should always be. I had every question about the home and surrounding area answered within minutes throughout my stay. The house is spotless and very well appointed. It is a cozy home with ample spaces for large groups. The location is within short proximity to such a variety of gorgeous terrain. The owners have thought of every detail. Doesn't get any better.
