We built this house to be comfortable, great for entertaining and easy to take care of. The master bedroom is on one side of the house and on the other side are two bed rooms with a bath between them (jack and jill). One has a queen bed and the other has two twins that can be made up as a king.
We love the view of the lake and watching the birds and deer. The deck is one our favorite places to sit, especially at night when you can see a carpet of stars overhead. And we generally have breakfast on the screen porch watching the humming birds at the feeder.
There are so many things to do within Connestee Falls - hiking, golfing, swimming, tennis, pickle ball. And we are located in one of the most beautiful areas for hiking in the country. It's called the land of waterfalls and boasts over 150 of them. There are lots of local artists and galleries. And in the summer there is a music school that is world renown and they perform weekly. We're close to Asheville, Hendersonville and Greenville, South Carolina.

We built our home here because there is so much to do - hiking, golfing, camping, tennis, rafting down the river, and much more. There are great restaurants, wonderful music opportunities, live theater close, and unique shopping.
We love that there are so many golf courses close by. And our grand kids can attend one of the many, many camps in the area. And my husband is addicted to the ice cream store on the way to the 'Cradle of Forestry'.
There is absolutely nothing not to like about this house. Everything was perfect - the house was spotless, very comfortably furnished and the walk in shower was to die for. We traveled around to the different areas but you could stay right inside Connestee Falls and find plenty to do. We would certainly recommend this house to anyone wishing to stay in the area.
Our family have been living in and visiting in Connestee Falls for over 30 years! As past homeowners, we couldn't imagine finding a place we would love as much as our "old" home.
We loved the Sullivan's home and location so much that we wanted to stay forever! Everything about the home was perfect and we loved walking to Atagahi Park every day and picnicking on the lake. Shopping in Brevard, hiking trails, golfing, eating at all of our favorite places were so much fun, but our favorite pastime was wine on the porch watching the hummingbirds:). We definitely plan to return! Thank you Jim & Caroline😍
What a beautiful home! We had such a delightful week enjoying the screened porch and the beauty of Connestee Falls. This home was so comfortable and well supplied that I felt like I was at home but in a different setting. We enjoyed shopping in Brevard, playing golf on the spectacular course and just relaxing. We ate at the Connestee Falls dining room one night and the meal was excellent and the view was breathtaking. We had planned to eat out on Saturday night, but decided against it, because we were enjoying the peacefulness and beauty around us so much. We just ordered out pizza from the grill, that's how much we loved your home.
Your home was not only comfortable but it was immaculate. Thank you for leaving information about everything from trash disposal to suggested restaurants in the area. This was very helpful.
This was our base for the week we spent mountain biking at Dupont State Forest. The house is huge and very comfortable, and the photos don't do the interior justice. The garage is also huge, with plenty of room to store bikes and gear. The kitchen could use another saucepan, but now I'm quibbling.
The entrance to Dupont is 10 minutes away, and Brevard, which has an Ingles, a Food Matters natural food store, a liquor store, and nice shops and restaurants, is less than 15 minutes away. An excellent bike shop, the Hub, is about 10 minutes north of Brevard on the way to Pisgah.
The bike trails at Dupont are wonderful, and there is truly something for everyone. Forest roads and doubletrack for beginners; gorgeous, well-drained singletrack with moderate climbs and fast, flowy descents for intermediates; grunty, climbs and technical downhills for experts. Lots of trailheads with ample parking, although if you want to ride Big Rock and Cedar Rock on a weekend, you'd better get there early. It's just all good. For non-riders in your group, Dupont has several beautiful waterfalls within easy hiking distance of the Visitor Center. As well, there are hiking trails and waterfalls within the Connestee Falls development itself, along with golf, hard-court tennis, a fitness center, and a lake for fishing and boating. We really enjoyed our stay, and look forward to our next one.
This house has it all. Very comfortable furnishings along with a great shower in the master bath. The kitchen contains all the implements that are needed. The pictures correctly depict the home and the owners are extremely accomodating and helpfull.
Connestee is a gated golf course community with lakes, club house, tennis courts, bocce court, etc.
There are a number of golf courses in the area within 45 minutes. There are also 5 or 6 good restaurants in Brevard, about 15 minutes drive. Asheville, with all that city offers is less than a 1 hour drive.
Beautiful, spacious, well maintained, comfortable+ home. So enjoyed the truly "gourmet" kitchen, wonderful large master bedroom/bath suite, screened porch for relaxing and dining (plenty of outdoor furniture) plus deck, and large, comfy furniture in the great room, computer access and desk in the sitting area. There was just 2 of us (retired), but for a larger family or 2 couples, there is a nice, private hallway that leads to a separate wing of the house with 2 bedrooms, jack & jill bath, plus a hallway powder room and great laundry room. Everyone can enjoy their quiet space, yet be part of the open concept of this lovely home. Another bonus: the location of the home is very near the pool and club house. Home owners are A+ to work with, we would definitely recommend this home to friends or relatives. Enjoyed dining at Square Root, Hob Nob, and Marco Tratorria in Brevard, and Mrs. G and Me in Hendersonville. Nice shops in Hendersonville, "The Homestead," and "Yarns To Dye For." Fun "big barn" shop, "Bloomfield's" in Flat Rock-----kitchen, hardware, and much more. We so enjoyed our one week stay, have already booked for 2 weeks next year.
