We purchased this 3 BR 1.5 Bath home in beautiful Cape May in December 2011. We have painted every room, refinished kitchen cabinets, installed new flooring and new counter top, cleaned the exisitng hardwood floors, installed central AC and purchased much new furniture (including ALL NEW BEDS). A new glass mosaic tile back splash has been put in. During the summer of 2013, we started working on the landscaping and installed new outdoor light fixtures. We also purchased a new refrigerator and bed frame for the king bed. The exterior of the house was painted last year and looks great!! This is your chance to get an exceptionally clean and fresh home in a great location. Rent now before booked!!!
We are about 2 blocks from the beach and only four blocks from great shopping at the mall.

The first bedroom has a king bed and a flat screen tv. The second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and a chair that pulls out to a lounge / bed. The third bedroom has a queen bed. The sofa in the living room pulls out into another double bed. This is not a traditional sofa bed; it is actually very comfortable.

My wife and I purchased this home with my sister-in-law. We ultimtely hope to live here in the summers. However, we are renting for the next few summers. My wife is a math teacher, I am an engineer and my sister-in-law is in banking. We all grew up in Bucks County, PA and love vacationing at the Jersey Beach!!

We love Cape May!!! This house is in a great location for the beach and the mall. In addition to the beach and shopping, there are so many great restaurants in town. We have another family member with a home in Cape May and we love the family friendly atmosphere of this town. It is the best beach in NJ!!
Sit on the porch and you can hear the surf! We are short walking distance to the mall. The beach is only about 2 blocks away and we are close to the bird sanctuary. The lighthouse and sunset beach are a short ride away. It is not a big house but is perfect for the beach. We love the hardwood floors in the family room and bedrooms. The whole home is clean and bright with all fresh paint!! There is a huge pantry right off the kitchen in the laundry room.
We had stayed at this home in mid-July (family of 6) and had an excellent experience. I must first say that for 28 years we have been coming to Cape May and have stayed at multiple places and Sandy's property was the best. We felt very comfortable in this beautiful, clean and comfortable place. We had nothing bad to say about this place. The outside patio with grill was perfect. The garage kept various beach items we were allowed to use including two beach carts which made life easy. We were close to The Cove which was a new experience for us, it was fantastic. I understand that the owners may end up living there in the years to come and the place shows it. (Not to soon please, we plan on coming back) Many thanks,
This is our 3rd straight summer vacationing in CM and our first at this property. Let me just start by saying ..... we will be back. It is in a great location. Just 2 short blocks to the beach, 3 to the Rusty Nail, and maybe 5-6 to the Washington St. Mall (under 10 minutes to be sure) Under 2 blocks to the Black Duck, Sapporo, Godmothers, ice cream and Sunset Liquors. Really, just perfectly situated. The house itself is spotless and looks even better than the pictures. They have replaced the kitchen table in the picture with a MUCH larger and nicer one that can probably seat 8-10. The 3 bedrooms are all a nice size and the beds were really comfortable. The bunk beds are ideal if traveling with a large family or 2 families vacationing together. The front porch was just great for morning coffee and the outdoor shower was new and perfect for coming off the beach. They also have a large garage out back which was great for storing our bikes and beach cart/chairs. They also provided 5-6 chairs if you dont feel like lugging yours down. 6 beach tags, too! Gas grill was newer and had propane. It was great for grilling fresh tuna steaks from the Lobster House. All in all, a great family vacation and we hope to be able to rent from them for years to come. BTW, she was very responsive and easy to work with as well. Thanks again for a great week
My family and i had an excellent stay at this property. You can tell the owners of the property have taken care to make sure renters have a good experience. We have two young girls age 4 & 2 and having the outside shower was key. I do not think any of us took a shower inside the house because the outsdie shower seemed to have been newly built & it was clean and spacious. Having netflix on the TV really came in handy for the childern so they could watch Kid shows in the morning. The proximity to mall area was a 10 minute walk, and the use of the garage helped with the storage of Bikes etc. The gas grill came in handy when we had dinner on the back porch. It was clean and even had a spare gas cannister. The house had wifi which was needed for me to do work remotely. Lastly it was 5 minute walk to the beach which was made easy with the beach cart provided. In closing, the house was close to everything and it was comfortable staying there.
We rented this property for our beach vacation in July 2013, and I'm so glad we did! The house made our entire week enjoyable and easy. Our family of four (myself, my husband, and our sons, ages 5 and 8) had a wonderful stay. We've vacationed in Cape May, Wildwood, and Ocean City NJ for many years, and have stayed at all manner of hotels, condotels, and house rentals, and we all agreed that this property made for the most relaxing, convenient, and economical stay we've had at the Jersey shore.
The photos of the house are very accurate, but the house is actually much more spacious than one can tell from the pictures. We loved the layout of the rooms and the beautiful furnishings, which were top quality and very new -- as well as cool and classy -- without being fancy or stuffy. The beds were very, very comfortable and the boys loved the bunk room. Incredibly clean throughout! Great eat-in kitchen -- very roomy, and super well-equipped! We found everything we needed and much more. Calphalon cookware, a dishwasher, and a Keurig machine made all meals easy affairs. My husband and I agreed that the Wifi was excellent, much better than at any CM hotel we've ever experienced -- a big deal if you have to work a bit. The kids found some games in the drawers for our rainy day, and they loved the big front porch for breakfast. We grilled one night and loved the new paver patio and table/chairs. Having a half bath and an outdoor shower along with the pretty, well-lit full bath made get-ready time convenient. BTW, excellent outdoor shower -- a real shower head, hooks and shelves, very clean wood slat floor.
We especially loved how easy the walking was to everywhere we like to go -- the Cove beach for early mornings and sunsets, the mall for shopping, CVS and shops and restaurants along Perry Street and Broadway (try Emilia's Garden cafe and Bella Vida restaurant -- excellent gluten-free options, if you need them! -- and the Seaside Cheese Company), and of course, the perfect beaches of CM for swimming and playing. We loved the use of the house's beach cart and chairs -- again, made for extremely easy daily trips to the beach, and the outdoor shower for our return each day. The walk to the beach is short, Broadway or Grant. Yield-to-pedestrian crosswalks all along Beach Ave. make crossing to the promenade easy and there's a good snack shop/bathroom building at the Broadway entrance.
We all agreed this house is a "keeper" and that we would return in a heartbeat!
A quaint house on a quiet, well-kept block, the greatest surprise is on the inside- perfectly furnished, enough room for two families, nice layout, and most of what you need already included. We found goodies, such as a bluetooth speaker, even as we were leaving. The kids loved the bunk beds, the couch expands to be very ample, the TV is huge, the A/C works well, all kitchen appliances are clean and functional, and no toilet issues. Back to the outside, the front porch is relaxing, the garage is great for storage and has beach equipment for your use. YES, you need beach tags, and YES, they have 6. The backyard features a great grill, patio with table & umbrella, and the finest outdoor shower we've ever seen! You won't want to use the indoor shower anymore! The owners are reasonable and helpful. Finally, you are proximate to the beach, a small part of town, the main strip, the mall- you dont need the car! Enjoy.
The location of our home is great!!! It is 2 to 2.5 blocks from the beach. Cove Beach, which has a beautiful view of the light house is just a few blocks down the beach from Broadway. There are many restaurants and shopping near by. The mall area in Cape May is approximately 4 to 5 blocks away.
