The house was amazing, on the most peaceful lake! Dealing with the owners was a breeze and they were so accommodating! Absolutely loved our trip!!
Very peaceful lake and a really great experience had by everyone in our group. Owners were incredibly helpful with all the questions we had and made our stay simple and pleasant (we left behind some keys and they returned immediately upon finding them which was great). Great access to Bolton Landing (Lake George) if you want a bigger lake experience by day, and a quiet more relaxing experiencing to come home to. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to have a nice and relaxing weekend!
Great Place to Get Away!
We stayed here and had one of the best weeks of our summer! It was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing staying on what I feel is the best side of the lake.
The dock and deck is where we spent the majority of the time. It was sunny on the dock early and shady on the deck which worked out perfectly. At night we finished the day on the deck cooking over the large outside wood fireplace.
The fishing was great with enough sunnies to entertain the kids and enough bass for the adults. Swimming was easy with the deep-water dock and there were enough boats and swim toys for everyone.
Although it rained on our last day, it was a perfect stay overall. We plan on making the trip back next year.
I think I just responded to your great review, but with in incorrect name??? Sorry about that!
Wonderful, relaxing, secluded family getaway
We stayed two nights and were sad to leave early. Plenty of activities around - Kayaking,Canoeing, fishing, hiking etc...Clear and Clean Lake...
The owner were very hospitable and the place was well kept and cozy. Central location and easy access to Lake George and vicinity.
Would love to come back next summer and stay longer at CAMP OLA'!!!
So glad you and your family enjoyed your stay. The feeling was mutual! Hoping you'll come again.
Loved our stay here!
Planned on staying for a week and then extended for a couple more days because we enjoyed our time here! Wife and kids and I loved the lake, fishing, boating, swimming. Our hosts provided rowboat, kayaks, canoe.
We used the camp as a jumping off point for lake George, lake placid, montreal, so it's in a great location for all.
What I really appreciated about the camp was how our hosts thought of many small details that made the stay more enjoyable. Eg plenty of supplies, games, books and more.
Thanks, Darren. We really enjoyed meeting you and your lovely family. We hope to see you again.
