About owner/property manager
I have lived in Albuquerque since 1990. I was born in Ecuador, my father is a US Vietnam veteran, my mother a teacher with the Albuquerque Public Schools for now 18 years. I have been licensed as a real estate agent and mortgage broker and now I am a paralegal. I love to meet new people and make sure my guests feel welcome. I can speak Spanish, French, Italian and some very little German.I had a car accident, lost my job and my kids and I moved with mom temporarily until I am fully recuperated and go back to work. We have done this since the beginning of the year. Mi casa es su casa.
owner/property manager purchased this House in 1998
Why owner/property manager chose Taylor Ranch
It is conveniently located about 10-15 minutes to all attractions, yet in a residential peaceful and quiet neighborhood, the house is confortable, light bright and spacious. The unheated pool is open April through August, during ABQ's pool season. This property is kid friendly and you can bring your pets too, with prior agreement and pet written agreement and conditions and deposit. There is a pet park within walking distance. Bicycles available on byke path, nested in the petroglyph park, near the library in a residential neighborhood near the mall, near the highway and near restaurants and grocery stores. about 10 to 15 minutes to all attractions but not bothered with the clutter, the noise the danger and in a quiet safe residential neighborhood where your family can enjoy walking around and the tranquility of the neighborhood and the privacy of the backyard pool
What makes this House unique
Very near everything, yet in the peaceful neighborhood of Santa Fe Village. You have access to the highway, railrunner, bike paths, your own private pool and a house that is airy bright and spacious with all you need to feel at home. There is even a full pantry stocked with goodies, and all the silverwear, cutlery, china, and even a cooler and water bottles for free. I usually leave fresh fruit and bread and also cereal on the house. THANK YOU for considering my house to be yours for a few days to enjoy.

Perfect size and quiet
The owner was so sweet to talk to and Mr Bernie, the next door neighbor, is just an amazing gentleman. He is kind and took great care of my son and I. It was a little too warm for the swamp cooler to catch up, but we never overheated. Can't wait to stay again on our return trip.
Thank you so much We fixed the AC pump after the sand storm . We will give you a discount next time . Thank you for letting us know was very nice to have you both
Beware of this property
Read the reviews on this property. This property owner privately rents this property to people outside of HomeAway. I rented the property through the site and after spending the day trying to contact the owner for the key code to enter the property, she finally called me back and told me that the site had somehow double booked the property. I was put up hotel rooms by HomeAway as a result of this. I have been told I will be receiving a refund, but it doesn't look like I'll be receiving the full refund if I do. Find a different property.

We made a reservation in February 2 weeks before the reservation I get a notice stating if we want to use the swimming pool it will cost us an additional $120 a night - Very deceitful – you do not get what you paying for – uncooperative – would not return correspondence thru HomeAway or thru personal email- kept telling me they were out of the country and couldn’t help me - I would wait up to a week for a response – very difficult getting our refund back – the place was very dirty – obviously had not been cleaned -with syrup On The countertops and toothpaste in the sink’s Swimming pool is not heated it was freezing cold – you couldn’t even stand in it for a minute if you wanted to -were not able to use the pool but charged regardless! We just felt that things were not dealt and an honest fashion – we were told since it wasn’t clean we would get a refund from the cleaning – they did not give us a refund –
We surely will not ever recommend HomeAway to anybody anybody in the future due to their dishonesty
I did not see in my inbox at homeaway any correspondance that I can read about what you are saying Nate. I may have gotten a text after I filed a damage claim. Did you want some money back from the claim? I was going to host another that was going to stay in the property for the third time... but you were booked before so I honored it. Should I have known of the syrup Would have send the cleaning service, I pay every time a guest checks out. You just needed to tell me when you accepted the house or at any point prior your departure. I am sorry you had a terrible time with this. I will make sure I replace the syrup bottle, I stock breakfast items for my gusts and maybe a bottle fell from the pantry.
About the pool, all guests pay the cost of keeping the pool open I divide this into the season and into days. The owner actually participates in 50% of the cost of chemicals etc, We try to keep costs down but after this feedback will raise the lodging to compare to other pool properties in the area, which start at 100 dollars higher a day which is more than the 30 a day you paid. I am sorry again, I would ha loved to work on this with you and about any damage claimed well that was already worked out. This is going up $69 avg/night and now is going up by 100
A great stay for family near petroglyphs
We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. It was the second time staying and whata great place for a family to enjoy time in Albuquerque.
Nice to see your family again, I am sorry we could not do it the next year, was booked these dates,
Warm and Welcoming Owner
The home owner was very friendly and welcoming. We found the property to be adequate for our stopover but not what we expected as we are used to well maintained rental only condos and properties. We found it uncomfortable and unusual to stay in a property that was someone's primary residence - displacing the homeowner and her 4 children. We also felt the property and the neighborhood did not live up to our expectations that had been based on the pictures posted on the website.
I am so sorry about your experience, the photos are taken by the website photographer. Our family moved with my mother because of a back injury I had in the meantime as I still need to pay the mortgage and lost my job due to the injury. We are thank full for this program and until recuperated, we participate in it. The house was 17 years old when we bought it and we have rebuilt it little by little new ac new heater new roof, fixed the pool, put grass, did the windows, changed plumbing hardware. The neighborhood is 27 years old and is a home vacation rental, and I intend to keep my house since I paid for it and is my homestead. In the meantime, my family spends only part time there, my kids since I am out of state in training. That is how these rentals work. I did not know you feel so bad about this I would have done anything to make your stay could better so that the next guest has the option of a more pleasant stay :)
What great little house in the Albuquerque area!
A great little house tucked into a quiet neighborhood right next to Petroglyph National Monument. Our daughters loved the saltwater pool and we were close to Coors Blvd for restaurants and shopping. We had a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely rent from her again.
Thank you Patrick for renting again, it was nice to have you again. :)
