In the heart of of Avalon. Steps to the beach -- 1/2 block. Long time favorite of families that have been coming to Avalon for generations. Warm and comfortable with three patios and an ocean view.

Walk to anywhere in the one square mile town including, the ferry dock that gets you to and from the island, front street restaurants, markets and the beach, all within 3 flat blocks!

Have your morning coffee, or what you like, on the sunny back porch while enjoying the mountain views. Watch the boats come in to the harbor or the beach activity from the upstairs balcony.

Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Has two queen size beds, two full size beds, two twin convertible sofa beds. Fully equipped kitchen. Beach chairs and toys. Includes cable TV and WiFi.

This property was bought as a get-away for the family in 1972. We are the children that grew up going to Catalina. We love boating, the beach and the island lifestyle.

Spacious with perfect accessibility to everything.

We had a wonderful relaxing time. It was so close to everything. The bedrooms were large with great balconies. Thank you for allowing us to slip in between two other bookings. We were able to put our suitcases in earlier than the 3:00pm check in. The leaving occupants left their suitcases in the front room, but removed them by the 3:00 check in. The house keepers were friendly and the washer and dryer access came in handy. We would definitely rent this property in the future.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

The house was adorbs! It was so nice to be in town so close to the water. Didn't have to hike our luggage up any hills. Sharon and Chris were great to work with. We come every year and this is definitely by far our favorite house. We will be returning next year and of course booking this house! Thanks Sharon & Chris!

"Favorite Island Cottage"---the best spot on the island!

We recently celebrated our 40th anniversary on Catalina. Our stay at the "Favorite Island Cottage" was perfect. Our two sons and their families joined us for an amazing weekend. The location was ideal!!! We walked to everything----shops, restaurants, fishing, beach, ferries, and everything else the island has to offer. The house itself is very charming and includes beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, ice chest and lots of other extras. I highly recommend this adorable little home away from home!. The highlight of our trip was our four year old grandson catching his very first fish off the end of the green pier---sweet sweet memories!

Excellent downtown location

This house was perfect for our needs. A very small kitchen, but very functional. 4 beds total, though we only needed the upstairs ones. Ridiculously easy walking distance to town and just about anywhere else you wanted to go in Avalon. Everything was clean and ready to go for us - my only recommendation is to get a "guest book" so guests can write where they're from and/or what they did while they were there to provide feedback and information to the next guests.

Terrific locale and sweet home

Very clean and very close to everything. Love the older homes and cute kitchens. Very large bedrooms and perfect weather to boot. Will definitely stay here again.
