Around 2015 VRBO/Homeaway started morphing from an advertising portal to connect property owners to tenants into a an advertising portal with an optional booking service, and this transition has created a lot of confusion. I don't pariticipate in their optional booking service. I still handle all my own quotes and the entire booking process personally as I have since 2005. You will be contracting with me not VRBO/Homeaway.

7 nights -- $250-275/night (that is 1750+/week based on occupancy, events and timing)

I generally have very enjoyable experiences working with and pleasing families and business travelers. I use to have very consistent, good success with large 'groups of friends', but my inquiries in that category have risen a lot since 2014 and so have some of the issues, headaches and heartache. These groups are often in for 2-3 night stays for things such as concerts, sporting events, birthday parties, reunions, bachelor and bachelorette parties. The groups of friends I have experienced the most hiccups with are often self categorized as 'professionals in their 20s-40s', so while that is important info, please understand it does not, by itself, make me feel 'comfortable' with a large group of friends. If you are going to be the responsible party for a large group of friends, PLEASE think about each of your companions and make sure you don't have anyone in your group that naturally attracts problems or trouble. If you do, please consider a hotel over my home or that of others, as problematic issues can affect a landlord’s entire business if it involves neighbors or neighborhood issues. If you are reserving for a Group of Friends, please provide some details about your group and your comfort with this info with your inquiry. Beautifully rehabbed 160 year old Row Home on one of the most beautiful blocks in Baltimore. The front features a street full of Bradford Pear Trees, best seen in early spring....out back you'll a quaint yard shared between this property and 627 S. Paca St and there is also a large 1 car garage on the rear of the property. There is a small 2nd floor rear deck off the kitchen (which is on the 2nd floor) with views of Camden Yards, Raven’s Stadium, and our great neighborhood park. There is also a third floor deck with the same views along with a little of the local skyline. .....On the inside you'll find 2400 sf of contemporary loft style living....be sure to click on link at the bottom of the page to see many more photos!!

When I come back to Baltimore on occasion, this is the home I stay in…..I enjoy sharing my home and Baltimore with folks from around the world...Children are most welcome but please look at the photos to decide if you're comfortable having them run around this house....Quiet, responsible drinkers and non-drinkers are welcome and smokers are welcome (but ALL smoking must be done outside with butts disposed of appropriately)....Drugs in any form are not welcome....

As for parking, there is a large garage that accommodates 1 vehicle less than 20' long......Other than that, this is a permit only neighborhood....although parking enforcement is not typically too bad if there are no ballgames, but a guaranteed ticket on game days.....I do have a visitors permit that may be used for a second vehicle, but you'll have to sign over your first born if anything happens to it!!! It's like gold, and once lost, it can't be replaced until next year!!!

Holly and I lived in this home full time from 2005 thru 2012. Holly got a wonderful opportunity to work in Monterey Bay CA so we've relocated! I still return to Baltimore regularly for work, and I stay in either 625 or 627 when I'm in town.

Why The Owner chose Baltimore

I purchased 625 and 627 S. Paca St. because of the location and the views. Short of a water view or a skyline view, the views of the park and the stadiums are pretty hard to beat...and the parking situation with the neighborhood lot behind the homes is fabulous!

What makes this townhome unique

The home next door to this one is also a VRBO rental, so I can typically accommodate 18-20 people between the 2 homes, and there are several homes owned by others within 2 blocks that I can refer you two if your group requires more than 1 home and I can not accommodate.

What a great house! It is a row townhouse on the outside and a loft on the inside. Our Christmas stockings looked GREAT hanging with large bows on the catwalk. The house is beautifully furnished and well equipped. Thanks for a great week! [owners note: there was a comment about running out of hot water, but no contact was made during the stay. For reference, there is a 66 gallon hot water heater in the home which is typically more than sufficient for a 3br home. I lived in this home and never had issues, and I've never gotten any other complaints from guests. If someone fills up the jetted tub while others are showering, that could lead to a short term lack of water...]

Location, location, location

625 S. Paca was the site for our 3rd annual college roommate reunion and it didn't disappoint. There was a ball game the night we arrived and we were so excited to see the stadium from the upper deck of the house! The home itself was a treat. 3 couples, we each had our own floor and our own bathroom (beautifully appointed, btw). We loved having the common space of the main floor to drink our coffee together in the morning or recap at the end of the day. We didn't rent a car, just Uber'd from the airport and walked everywhere else (Camden Yard, Inner Harbor, Little Italy). It's that close to everything! If you get time, check out the Mt. Vernon Marketplace. This was a great find for us to eat & drink.

The owner gave us great directions, check-in/check-out docs & was very pleasant to work with. We would definitely recommend this rental.

Perfect location, beautiful house

This was my second stay at South Paca and when the opportunity arises I will be back for a third visit. Well appointed and exceptionally clean home, quiet street, easy walk to the Inner Harbor and a mere stones throw from Camden Yards. Owner is very easy to work with. If you are weary of hotels this is the place for you!

Great location; really cool house!

The house is located steps from Camden Yards and is within walking distance to the Inner Harbor and the Convention Center. The house itself is really cool, with open floor plans, top-notch finishes, and great amenities. The front facade looks deceptively small (think the Tardis!); once inside, you find 4 floors of nice living space which easily accommodated 8 adults. We will definitely be coming back! I would recommend the house for getaways and tourist groups; however the open floor plan could be an issue for families with young children as sounds travel well throughout.

Convenient, Beautiful Row Home

This row house is just beautiful inside. It is very close to the Baltimore Convention Centre (7 min walk), and literally across the street from Camden Yard (you can hear the crowd and the game being announced from either of the two awesome decks which I thought was very cool!) There are 4 levels, so 4 flights of stairs (no big deal for my party, but the steps are slippery so bring clean, inside flip flops or anything "grippy" to walk around in). All 3 bathrooms are gorgeous and have huge walk in showers. There were 5 us staying here during our conference and we never ran out of hot water but we did respect the notes on over usage and kept it to short, simple showers - no baths (but there is a great jetted tub on top floor loft bathroom). The kitchen is well stocked, open and all the appliances are easy to use and stainless steel. We all LOVED the massage chair and utilized the full body massage option EVERY day we were there. The picture on the living room tv is a little wacky with off colours but it was easy to use so we could watch some of the Stanley Cup playoff games. The neighbourhood is extremely quaint and there are 3 pubs/restaurants right across the street (like a 2 min walk...literally) You can get beer & wine "to go" at Pickles pub as most liquor stores are a good walk (not great area's either) & closed on sundays. The ONLY grocery store is Whole Foods (all organic and a bit spendy) and that walk will take you an hour for a return trip. Not ideal with heavy grocery bags, but it is around a 15-20 dollar cab ride one way, so we hoofed it. There is also a cute little wine store right next door to Whole Foods which is moderately priced and has very friendly staff. The little market which is 30 seconds from this property was closed for renovations during our stay so I cannot comment on that. All in all we loved this property. The fact there was 3 beds (all queens) and a dbl futon for sleeping was ideal. The laundry was great as well. Again, there is a ton of stairs, so that should be duly noted for anyone with small children (not ideal) or anyone who would have issues with climbing/descending. All of the skylights are awesome as well. It is nice and bright in this home. The grates in the floors also let a lot of light throughout the entire 4 floors but you should be aware this home is quite open from top to bottom, so not super quiet which didn't bother us at all. I highly recommend this place. Bryan is really easy to work with & accommodating :)

Great experience, clean, awesome location

A group of nine guys stayed here for a Bachelor Party weekend. The location was awesome -- we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. No matter how late we were walking the neighborhood felt safe too. The house was clean and the documents made checking out on Sunday morning a breeze. The kitchen had everything we need to make breakfast and have an outdoor cookout.

Location, Location, Location!

If Baltimore is your destination, look no further! You will not find a better overall experience of "home-renting" than with this choice. Beautiful, safe, and well located neighborhood. It is such a comfortable walking distance to both stadiums. Absolutely beautiful home and well taken care of. The attention to detail for guests is unsurpassable. Bryan is extremely professional, timely, and efficient. We are planning on returning!
