Self-catering all year round holiday rental luxury apartment, with secure parking, the apartment has a uninterrupted view of Caswell Bay, a king size bed in the bedroom, 2 double bed settees in the lounge if you require the bed settees there is an additional charge.,fully equiped and modern kitchen, comfortable & spacious lounge/dinning room, bathroom with shower,sink & wc. All electricity is included in price, there is a pay phone in the foyer, just a short walk along the beach is a cafe & small gift shops where you can relax & enjoy the peace & quiet soak up the sun,or watch the surfers catching the waves. There are plenty of coastal walks to take & many places of interest to visit including Oystermouth castle, or Rhoselli with its breath taking views, & many many more.Caswell bay was featured on 'Britain's finest view. The holiday apartment is on the gower peninsular, approx 15min from Swansea where there is a shopping centre,cinema, leisure centre, bowling and a swimming complex. It is 5min from the mumbles where you will find shops,cafes, bars & restaurants, Boutique shops, Joe's ice cream parlour & much much more.

We have holidayed at Caswell bay for many many years, when the opportunity arose we could not resist buying a apartment in Caswell Bay, we are self employed and do not get much time off, so as this is only a short drive away from home it is a ideal get away for us.

The properties do not come up for sale very often so we snapped this one up as soon as it was for sale.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is directly on the beach, which has won another blue flag award for clean water, clean and safe beach. It is ideal for total relaxation or for coastal walks. It is popular for surfing.the beach has life guards during high season.

The apartment is accessed by stairs. There is a pay phone in the main foyer. Bring your own tea towels, hand soap, dish cloths, washing up/ dishwasher detergents, toilet rolls and beach towels. To enter the property you will need the gate phob from the agent, the location of the apartment is on the second floor, upon entering the foyer take doors to the right and go down the stairs to 5A.

This property is everything everyone says it is. Very comfortable. Everything you need is catered for. We've been home 6 weeks now and still really miss the view from 5a. We will definitely be back!

A little Gem

Wow what a view, had a great stay here, apartment is great has got all home comforts and had every thing we needed for our stay. Enjoyed time to relax and had some amazing walks along the coastal paths.

Can not wait to visit again.

Simply the most beautiful place on Earth

A stunning location. Lovely apartment, well kept, and clean - with more than enough space for my family of 4. WiFi included was an added bonus having 2 teenagers and no phone signal. We will definitely be back if you'll have us - we all loved it.

Adequate but not 'luxury'

Stayed over Easter period this year. Fantastic views and walking but disappointed in the apartment. Much smaller than appear s due to clever use of full wall mirror and the furniture was a bit jaded. Bedroom was n't great because of lack of window and ended up sleeping on sofa bed in living room. Which was fine - definitely glad I was only there with one other occupant as would have been too small. Also not suitable unless you have a car or bring all your supplies including toilet paper which was almost finished! The local shop on the beach does not cater for any food or newspaper - ice cream and beach gifts only_ you need to go to Mumbles

Recommend the area but not the apartment which was not 'luxury' as advertised, sorry.

close to the beach,on the Gower Peninsula.caswell bay was featured on britains finest view,there are plenty of places to explore like a short walk along the beach at low tide to Brandy Cove,or a longer walk the opposit way to Langland,A trip to Rossilli the worms head to see its breath taking views is a must,other bays incude Oxwich Bay,Limeslade,Llangenith,pobbles beach and many more.In the Gower area there are castles,medieval fortresses,iron age fortification and churches,just to name a few,these are all set in the scenery of hills,valleys and beaches.

There are plenty of high quality restaurants, wine bars and cafe's ,Boutique and gift shops on the mumbles just a short drive away. Boutique and gift shops
