OUTSTANDING!!! Peacful Getaway.

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was fantastic. There was not a single detail missing. It is just a quick trip to downtown Pagosa, and just short drive to the ski slopes. The ski area is really a hidden gem. No lines, no crowds and great slopes. I look forward to a return trip to this very cabin. It was super clean, the owners are fantastic, everything is in working order, views are fantastic, and I couldn't be happier. A must stay if you are in the area.

Great Lake cabin with view of sunset over the mountain

  • 5 of 5

We had a terrific time in Pagosa Springs and this was a great cabin to call home. Our 3 year old grandson referred to it as the red door house and he can't wait to return. It was perfectly described on the site and arranging the stay with Ronnie was made easy. It was clean and quaint, just what we expected. We had fun in the row boat letting our 6 year old grandson try to catch a trout in the lake; well, maybe next time! We can't wait to return to Pagosa Springs and of course we'll be staying here again!

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

We had another house on the lake rented but had to back out due to a child soccer conflict. This house was available in our needed time frame and we are so glad!

We arrived and the house was clean and exactly as pictured. The kitchen was great. The beds were comfortable and everything was as described.

While the fires were "close", we never smelled smoke or had any issues from the fires. We were able to do everything we wanted to do.

Our kids spent tons of time in the kayaks and the paddleboard. We stayed on the deck and enjoyed the weather and the kids (11 and 13) just played and played.

The house is right on the lake. The location is in a great part of town and the owners are fantastic to work with.

If I have any complaint at all, it is the fish were not biting. I just want someone else to blame for that since it cant be our poor fishing abilities!!!!

We do plan to rent again and hope this house is available when we come back.

Location and Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

I am a first time VRBO user and I was skeptical about using the site. However, I was pleasantly satisfied with this transaction. Last week my wife, a few family/friends and I (totaling 6) stayed at this prime location house. It’s right off the beautiful Pagosa Lake and it’s less than 15 minutes to drive to any restaurant, grocery store, or shop you need in Pagosa Springs. The 3 person boat that comes with renting the house was a great bonus. My wife and I would take the boat out in the evenings and enjoy the comfortable temperature and stunning sunsets. In the backyard, we saw a family of 4 deer on 2 evenings. As for the house, we enjoyed all the comforts of being home. The beds were comfortable; appliances were top of the line; great cable flat screen TV; and we especially enjoyed the free access to the homes wireless signal (since I brought my iPad). After being in Pagosa Springs 3 other times and staying in different accommodations for each visit, this cabin ranks on top. I just hope this cabin is available next year when I come back.
