About Tiffany Williams

My pride and enjoy. This cabin less than an hour from my home was purchased for a lifetime of fun and memories to be handed down to my children and hopefully generations to come. However as time goes on and children grow, and life gets busier we find ourselves having less time to enjoy our little piece of Heaven. So with the decreasing time, increasing costs, and life's demands we have decided to share our home with other. The funds from sharing our cabin for a few weeks will enable my kids and I to take a Mission trip and continue extra-curricular activities for my children. We love our cabin and hope other will also partake in its many pleasures.

Tiffany Williams purchased this cabin in 2005

Why Tiffany Williams chose Idaho

This affordable and comfortable cabin located on a sandy shore of a beautiful lake holds an abundance of recreational opportunity from boating, skiing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, and wildlife watching. For summertime fun it is also within minutes of one of the Northwests greatest Theme Parks SILVERWOOD. For wintertime fun it is just minutes away from one of Idaho's best ski Mountains SCHWEITZER MT RESORT. It is located less than an hour from two of of North Idahos greatest tourism towns: Coeur D'Alene-Home of the CDA RESORT and the Floating Golf Green, and Sandpoint. Both are abundant with arts, fine dining, and shopping. There is endless opportunity for activities, or just take in the peaceful beauty.

What makes this cabin unique

The benefits are endless. Warm days swimming or boating, afternoon hikes, gourmet BBQs from our expansive deck and outdoor kitchen, sitting with a cool drink on the shaded porch or swinging in a hammock with a nice breeze, warm evenings around the firepit making s'mores, peering at the sky counting the stars, listening to the waves wash up on shore, smell of the fresh air, taking a trip on the creek viewing deer, beavers, turtles, frogs and birds, seeing the kids fish for hours off the dock, frog races, shopping, great restaurants, art, farmers markets, museums, afternoon naps.....need I say more?

Had a wonderful time so much so we extended our stay. Tiffany was very accommodating and the house was very comfortable. Plenty of games, kitchen stocked, out seating and water toys. Plan on returning soon.

A perfect getaway!!!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great vacation at the Cocolalla Lake Retreat! The cabin is homey, clean and very well equipped...lots of treats and special touches. We loved the huge deck, sandy beach and fire pit! We did almost all of our cooking outside. The lake was great for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and the kids loved the water trampoline and lily pad. Great location too! We hiked daily, golfed, zip lined, shopped and went to Silverwood! We were also able to take our dogs which was great. We didn't want to leave and would love to go back!😊

Clean, kid friendly, perfect location

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful smaller lake great for swimming, fishing, and canoeing. It was the perfect location between Sandpoint and Coeur d Alene. We enjoyed day trips to each of those areas and even ventured out to Priest Lake and enjoyed a hike to Slide Rock. Because it was our first time to Northern Idaho we wanted to explore more but we would have been perfectly content with just staying at Lake Cocolalla the whole time. The house had everything we could imagine needing and Tiffany was great to work with. My 4 kiddos enjoyed jumping on the water trampoline, swimming, fishing off the dock and using the many water toys that were available for use. The house was well stocked and maintained. We loved our stay and would definitely go back again. Thanks for the great memories!!

Lake Cocolalla 2016

  • 5 of 5

This was our third year at the lake. Again, we had a blast, despite the weather. The kids love the lake and floating trampoline. The campfires on the beach (with smores of course) are always a hit. The weather started out a little cool and windy however, the kids son found out the waves were very fun to play in. They sat and/or stood on the floating Lilly pad and had the ride of their lives. As the weather improved so did the water sports and fishing. All the kids caught fish off of the dock and were either happy or sad for the fish (50% each way).

Great place to get a group together and bond. House is large enough for our10 and the large deck that is at edge of beach makes it easy to watch and play with children. Shallow water at beach is perfect for little ones to splash around, build sand castles or just get down and dirty.

The house is always presented clean. Owner supplies treats for kids which is cute. lots of games/puzzles etc. provided. Kitchen is well stocked with everything needed, just bring your food and drinks and your ready to go. Starter paper products are also on hand and washer dryer make it easy to keep things clean without having to pack a ton of cloths!

We did one day in Sandpoint (15 minutes North) to visit beach park (very nice beach and play area) and ate at restaurant at park, very good food as well as service. Only went once as bridge work made it to hard to access. One day at Silverwood ( 20 minutes South)to help exhaust the kids on rides and more water fun.

I would recommend this as a great vacation destination.

Family Time - Priceless

  • 5 of 5

What a blessing to find such a beautiful home. After a recent loss in our family we were overwhelmed by the special welcoming touches we found. It was also our 50th wedding anniversary and you made that special. Thank you so much. It was a perfect place for family time. The grandkids had a great time on the trampoline and other toys made available to us. I even tried the trampoline. It was fun and gave the rest of the family a good laugh. The kids learned to fish, bait their own hook and take the fish off the hook. We have rented several homes on the coast. This one is by far THE BEST. It was so comfortable and welcoming. So many activities for the kids and so peaceful. It was the perfect place to begin healing from our loss. We all look forward to coming back next summer. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

Family Vacation Retreat

  • 5 of 5

We do an annual family retreat in Idaho to reunite the Seattle area families with the Montana group. This consists of Two Senior Grandparents, four parents and four grand children ages 5,5 and 2,2.

This was a fantastic place for the retreat. From being able to walk directly into the lake from the back deck to the well furnished and welcoming house. The four bedrooms fit the group well. The two bathrooms were adequate as well as well equipped kitchen. The large partly covered deck allowed room to get some private space when needed. Everything a person would need was already stocked. We just replaced as we used. Lots of games and videos were stocked for kid entertainment.

The dock was great to swim off of and the kids LOVED the floating trampoline! The kids also loved the lily pad float attached to the trampoline. The paddle board, row boat, and kayak were used by all at one time or another. Fishing was good from dock and boat. Caught small mouth bass, perch, catfish and trout. Some tin the two to three pound range. All catch and release as we hope for even bigger fish next time.

We voted this the overall best place we have stayed during our five years of getting together in Idaho. We hope to be able to do another week in 2015.
