This was our favorite!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 10 days in Alaska and this was our favorite. We loved the cabin. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you would need to cook or bake. I always really appreciate a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed reading on the porch in the rain. Breakfast in the dining nook made you feel like you were eating outside in the woods because of all the windows and sky lights. There are many extras in decor and comfort that make it feel like you are in your own second home. The laundry is a great thing to have when on a long trip. The location is perfect... with easy access to Seward. If I ever get to come back to Alaska, I want to stay here again.

Lovely cabin in Seward

  • 5 of 5

Cabin was very clean, kitchen had everything you would probably want for a short stay. Owner also includes a drawer with coffee, tea, hot cocoa, etc to get you started, which was a nice touch. Full size front loading washer and dryer were great. Beds were extremely comfortable. Bathroom has an odd step that two of us fell on, but can't do anything about that. Bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs, downstairs has plenty of room for hanging out. Owner put thought into the lovely decorating. Looks just like photos. Location is great-grocery store very close. We were here during the Mt Marathon race, which we didn't know about until after we booked, but location was enough removed from the crazy crowds you wouldn't even know it was going on. Really liked the quiet residential location. And yet, it is just a very short drive to both the waterfront in Seward and Exit Glacier. Highly recommend for families!

Cozy log house!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I loved our stay in this lovely Alaskan log cabin. Our favorite room was the dining room with skylights! Setting was close to town but still in the middle of a lovely woodsy Kenai setting. Highly recommend it!

Lovely cabin. Great place for exploring the Kenai Peninsula.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a week at this lovely cabin in Seward. Julie, the owner, met us upon arrival and gave us a quick review of how things in the cabin worked (e.g. the heater). She also gave us recommendations for places to have dinner (Go to The Cookery on 5th Avenue for superb food!). And she also told us we could use her phone number when checking-out at Carr's Safeway in Seward to get certain food items at a discount - very thoughtful. The cabin is spacious for two (or for four) people. The downstairs has an open design: entry-way flows into living room and into kitchen and dining area. The dining area has windows on three sides and is bright and served as our "base of operations." Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a full bathroom. We slept in the bedroom to the right of the bathroom. The queen bed was very comfortable. There is a dresser and storage space. Shower had good water pressure. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the things you need if you're planning to prepare any meals. Look under the sink for salt and pepper! In a separate room off the living room there is a washer and dryer which we used. There was easy-to-use Wi-Fi. There is a TV in the living room which we did not watch - we were too busy exploring the Kenai! There are neat and clever decorations throughout the entire cabin. My wife was delighted that there was coffee, coffee filters, and an assortment of tea provided. Julie was great to work with throughout the entire process. The cabin itself is on a dirt road with a few potholes so don't be surprised when you turn off the main road and onto the dirt road. We loved this place and if we come back to Seward, we'd stay here again!
