vacation
The house was big enough. However we we never had hot water in the kitchen! The water heater kept going out so everyone had cold to luke warm showers! The fire pit was great and the screened porch we enjoyed. We liked all the trails and rented a golf cart. The kids really enjoyed that. Walked down to the small lake and nothing was maintained! Weeds everywhere and a half way submerged pontoon was at the end of the dock. So not very pleasant to sit down there and we never did. The owner came over several times with the water problems but it never got better.

Annual family lake get-away
We stayed for a week in July 2023. It was our first (and last) time at this property. Unfortunately, the lake was a total disappointment. It is quite a distance from the house. The lake was low and mucky and there is a sunken pontoon right at the end of the dock. We were not able to enjoy the lake in any way. The house is roomy and has a wonderful wrap-a-round porch, but the housekeeping was unacceptable. We cleaned for appx an hour before settling in. The entire house needs a deep clean, (especially the kitchen), and better cleaning in between guests. We reported the poor housekeeping to the caretakers and also sent a photo, so I sincerely hope this situation has improved. It was a very unpleasant way to begin our vacation.

misrepresented and falsely advertised
Advertised and email stating pan fishing from dock. Use of pontoon that was flooded and sank. Kayaks, row boat and canoe full of dirty water. Swamp water as far as you could see about 1 ft deep. No water activities because no water. That's why we were excited to rent this place, Activities for everyone. No hot water in the kitchen the entire stay. Only 3 people could shower before hot water was out and 2 in the evening so many of us couldn't even shower during the stay. Propane grill was so dirty. Would have taken hours to clean and had a broken leg propped up by scrap things. Couldn't get it out of the garage to use. Had to cook in kitchen. Pet hair inside and out. Can't tell you how disappointed my entire family was. This place is falsely advertised and misrepresented. I feel a substantial refund is due.

Very beautiful
We had a great stay. Unfortunately mother nature was not kind prior to our visit. The waters were too low for fishing and the pontoon was not available 😕 (it had sank). The golf cart was a must. Trails were awesome. Mosquitos were not terrible (although we did spray the area).
