About Patsy and Gene Tankersley
We came to Austin to go to the University of Texas and have been in Austin ever since. We raised four children here, and although we love Austin, we very much enjoy getting out of the bustle to the quieter energy of the lovely river in the historical town of Seguin.
Patsy and Gene Tankersley purchased this House in 2012
Why Patsy and Gene Tankersley chose Seguin
We were the first to call about this truly beautiful property in Seguin and fell in love with the lovely blue-green sparkle of Meadow Lake, a dammed up section of the Guadalupe River right at end of the back yard and shaded by huge live oak trees. We think you will enjoy being here just as we do.
What makes this House unique
Magical tranquility of Meadow Lake right out the door with views from 6 rooms. Very spacious, so many people can come together or spend private time. Feels like the country but is only minutes from Walmart, HEB, and CVS.
Pool / Spa
My husband and I stayed with 3 other couples and we had an amazing and relaxing time. Clean and well maintained and provides everything you could possibly need. Just bring your food and you are good to go!
Thanks Patsy and Gene for letting us enjoy your wonderful home!
Great property... close enough to new braunfles and gruene but yet so secluded
Even though we were 30 mins from gruene and New Braunfels we had such and amazing stay in this home. Everything you need is there and the owners are 100% what everyone said about getting back to you quickly on any thing you needed. We really enjoyed this home and definitely recommend it to anyone needing a secluded feeling but still close enough to the fun! Thanks so much!
We stayed at this wonderful home during our recent stay in Seguin. It was equipped with everything we needed and beds were comfy!
Again we had a wonderful time! Home and surrounding yard is just perfect. We had fun floating and just relaxing at the dock!
Not one single complaint, we had a great time!
This house was over the top accommodating!
From the front of this cute tucked away home to the backyard right on the river, this home felt as comfortable as I could ever ask for. The home is so spacious for my whole family of 14! The stairs built down to the water were perfect for little ones and my mother to go down with ease. The back porch was our favorite place to be together and the top porch was MY favorite to spend some quiet time alone with a cup of coffee. The house was so close to town to have everything right at our fingertips. We road 5 min to the PowerPlant and dropped in to kayak and tube with the whole family. I recommend having some grub at the PowerPlant as well. (Delish! And neat history). We will be back again. Thank you Patsy and Gene, you guys were quick to respond to all our needs.
