Comfortably decorated and centrally located on this three and a half mile Island, our quiet end-unit Tennis Villa and the adjacent Tennis Courts are just across Tarpon from the Ocean, Beach Club, and swimming pools. A large deck accessed from the living room faces a spectacular marsh view over the tidal creek, extending in the direction of the Marina and an osprey nest. Bring your binoculars or scope to watch the birds and other wildlife in the marsh. Good beach access points nearby. List available with gate passes. Note the partial mid-week dates available in September may be less crowded than the weekends.
This comfortable'townhouse' condo (over 900 sq. ft) is comfortably furnished for your stay. On the first floor, a spacious floorplan features a dining ell off the living room; the living room has both a sofa and a sleep sofa. A full bath and kitchen with laundry complete this floor. The upstairs loft bedroom has a Queen-sized bed,a large clothes closet plus has an additional TV set. Our master bath features a whirlpool tub. Being an end unit assures good natural light, additional privacy, quiet, and lovely sunsets for our guests. Tidal creek and marsh views are facilitated by windows and sliding door to a back deck with table and chairs.
Rental includes the usage of our 4 passenger cart. Security strictly enforces that only properly licensed drivers may operate carts. New Fripp Island rules affect renters bringing their golf carts or mopeds. A registration fee and cart inspection is required.
Two golf courses on the Island, swimming at three pool complexes, and a Club recreation program complement the natural beauty of our Island, its ecosystem, and varied wildlife. For our golf cart, we have added an electrical outlet conveniently located at the front of the Villa.
Access to the 3 1/2 mile Atlantic Beach is gained at one of 32 access points. A full time security staff controls access to our Island; except for summer peak weeks, it has remained uncrowded. Moderate temperatures in spring and fall are especially popular with golfers. Although Tarpon Blvd is the main Island road, which is convenient for getting around, our villa is situated well back from the road so that the sounds you hear are either tennis balls or the birds.
We request No Smoking Inside Villa. There is a $250 excess cleaning fee if violated.. Service animals welcome any time. Dogs may be allowed as long as prior authorization is given. We clean our carpets on a more frequent basis for pets. There is an additional fee per pet. An additional security deposit is held for a pet . And, please know our housekeeper is very conscientious.
A 4 passenger Golf cart is available with rental.. You will note our rates are inclusive of various taxes, use of golf cart, 2 Club guest cards, and departure cleaning. Additional guest cards may be purchased. Club card fees are set by Fripp I Club. A separate check is required for security/cleaning deposit which covers the Villa, golf cart, and pets, as appropriate , We always anticipate there will be no need for excess cleaning or experience damages. Following housekeeping, we plan to shred this deposit check.
We ask that you remember that Fripp likes to keep our wildlife "wild" and ask
your family not to feed deer or alligators and please pick up any dropped trash.

We have been coming to Fripp since late 1970's and stayed in various locations. Leaving Ky after 35 years, we moved closer to Fripp and are now in upstate SC. We bought unit while building our present house VRBO 4153. Our family stays occasionally in the Villa, which is furnished to our standards.
We love the opportunity to be solitary or in a group, play sports or walk the beach, children benefit from bike trails, a security presence on the roads, and only one entrance/exit road at Fripp.
We bought this Villa while building a new home on Island.. This is a wonderful central location with pool and beach 3 minute walk away. Tennis courts are just outside the door. The tidal creek is active and alive with wildlife. Set back off the main road of Tarpon means it is quiet yet a very convenient Island location. With an end unit (townhouse), gazing across the creek's marshes is not the same as being in the middle of condominium hustle and bustle. We love the variety of birds feeding in
the creek and marsh or building their nests. We have watched osprey over the years, returning to their familiar habitats.
The central location across from Beach Club facilties or beach, adjacent to the tennis courts, and with easy access to paved bicycle trails allows families to do everything and nothing outside the door.
Fripp has been nicknamed 'the best kept secret of the South' for good reason. Many owners come as often as they can, returning guests often have come for the past 20-30 years while first-time guests are welcome. We also think our guests care about our Island and feel at home in our property. Many of us appreciate and respect the presence of security and their concern for owners and visitors.
Great size of unit and its layout works well. The creek is right off our deck. Quet!. Sunny1. Easy to have privacy or be social by its location. It has a unique setting on Island without through traffic. Walk to various venues in 'Beach Club area' without worrying about parking a car or golf cart to go to pools, beach, food. We have a 4-passenger golf cart, covered with 'windows' for the cooler weather, for our guests now. The Island POA will no longer allow non-property owners to bring their own golf carts.. Activities are relatively near by, the Beach Club across the street, or equi-distance to either end of the Island for golf, marina, or additional pools.
This was our fourth stay in this very cozy, comfortable tennis villa. It is the perfect size for a couple, and has everything you need. The owners are so nice and welcoming. Fripp is the perfect place for a relaxing, quiet getaway! We will be back next year, definitely!

This was our second stay at this very cozy and comfortable villa. It is very centrally located, but still feels very quiet and private. Fripp is a great place to visit, the views are wonderful, and the beach is always inviting.Plenty to do for everyone.Everything we needed was provided, and the owners are very helpful and welcoming. We plan to return again next year!
My family and I had a wonderful time staying in this tennis villa! We live in Beaufort, but enjoy staying at Fripp Island as a mini "stay-cation." The unit was a great size for my family of 4! It was very clean, and in a great location on the island. We all really enjoyed the back deck, the view, and the wild life! Having the use of the golf cart helped make the trip more enjoyable!
The pictures on the web site were perfect...and if anything, the villa seemed to be bigger in person! The description was extremely accurate, and the owners were VERY helpful. I would recommend this rental to others!
We had a wonderful time staying at this tennis villa. The location on the marsh right across the street from the beach was great. The owners were really nice and helpful. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 to stay comfortably and the unit was very clean. Our 3 children really enjoyed riding the golf cart around and feeding the deer that walked right up to us in the front and back of the unit. If we come back to Fripp Island again, we will definitely stay here again.
