The enduring log building stands proudly beside the Bow River, just as it has for almost 100 years. It is surrounded on all sides by a panorama of the majestic Rocky Mountains. The cabin is within walking distance of downtown Canmore. Enjoy the shops, restaurants, and beautiful views in the town. Banff and an abundance of ski resorts are just a short drive away.

Built in 1910 -- Restored + Redecorated in 2000 -- the original logs lend a sense of history to the relaxing atmosphere. This four bedroom home combines rustic history and renovated new age charm. Located only a few blocks from Main Street Canmore, the Bow River Chalet is perfectly located to give you the feeling of privacy on the river banks, and also the luxury of being close to all the action of town. Sit on one of the two large decks and enjoy expansive views of the majestic mountains while the waters of the Bow River glide past.
Main Level: The main floor features a large dining room and living room with a gas fireplace and views of the Bow River. As you pass through the dining room and living room you can access the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, and master suite with ensuite.
Upper Level: If you were to continue up the spiral staircase to the upper level you would have another 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and living room, and best of all, the large deck overlooking the Bow River.
Outdoor Space: Enjoy stargazing from the tranquil private patio off the back of the property. Or people watch from one of the two large balconies on the front of the property.
Regardless of the number of sleeping areas available, we are only permitted to allow a maximum of 10 adults.
The minimum stay is 28 days as per Canmore by-law. Guests are required to sign a lease agreement.
Maximum occupancy is 10 people and includes adults and children. This includes any person staying overnight, coming over for dinner or just popping by quickly.
All tenants must be registered in advance.
No pets allowed. This is a wish of the property owner.
No parties or events.
Everyone must be over the age of 25 (or children living under the direct supervision of a legal parent/guardian).
