NEWLY REMODELED!!

We have installed slate and hand scraped hickory hardwood flooring throughout the home in all rooms except the bedrooms, slab granite counter tops in the kitchen and all bathrooms, new sinks and faucets in the kitchen and all bathrooms.

The Beaver Lodge is a spacious three bedroom vacation rental home with mountain decor, vaulted open beam ceilings and a rustic mountain atmosphere. Some of the highlights include:

* Beautiful tree filtered views of Lake Tahoe

* Hand scraped hickory hard wood and slate flooring, slab granite counters

* Private 6 person hot tub on the upper lake view deck (off the main living area)

* 51 inch plasma HDTV with Blu-Ray and surround sound

* Pool Table

* Electronic Dart Board

* Wood pellet stove - for the ambiance of a wood fire with incredible convenience

* Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances

* Tankless water heater, which means never running out of hot water

* TV with cable in every bedroom

Three bedrooms, two full baths, and a laundry area are located on the first floor. The Master Bedroom features a king-size, knotty pine bed and furnishings, full bath, private lakeview deck and a television. The second bedroom contains a queen-size, knotty pine bed and furnishings and a television. The third bedroom, perfect for children or a couple, contains a bunkbed, with a double bed on the lower bunk and a twin bed on the upper bunk, and a TV/DVD player. For additional sleeping, there is a queen sofa bed in the living room and there is a full size infant crib in the master bedroom.

The home is within walking distance or a short drive (less than one mile) to the fabulous restaurants and quaint shops of Kings Beach, Crystal Bay Casinos, and Kings Beach public beach. An awesome trail system is located at the end of the street for mountain biking, hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. For the downhill skier - Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Mount Rose, Diamond Peak, and Homewood Ski Resorts are all a short drive away (10-20 minutes). Bockway Golf Course is located approximately one a and a half miles away. Tahoe City and Incline Village are a short ten-minute drive away.

After a day of skiing, hiking, or just enjoying the beauty of Tahoe, you can relax in the outdoor hot tub and watch the sunset. After dinner, enjoy a game of pool, select a movie to watch from the DVD movie library, or just gather around the fire to visit. The fabulous amenities of this home make the Beaver Lodge the perfect retreat for your Lake Tahoe get-away.

About The Owner

My husband and I grew up and met in Iowa. We wandered west in 1994, landed in Reno and never left. We love the sunny dry climate and mild temperatures. We live in Reno with our two children, dogs and a cat. We explore Lake Tahoe as often as possible and love to ski, hike, backpack, snowshoe, kayak and boat.

The Owner purchased this house in 1999

Why The Owner chose Kings Beach

My husband and I fell in love with Lake Tahoe the first time we saw it and are still struck by its beauty every time we arrive. We dreamed of buying a vacation home so we could spend more time exploring Tahoe. We particularly like the north shore, with its quaint little shops and restaurants and relaxed atmosphere. Kings Beach offers, in our opinion, the best views of Tahoe. It is in the middle of the north shore with picturesque views of the big, snow covered mountains on the south shore.

Guestbook comments from the owner

What a great place! We all had a blast in Lake Tahoe. The pellet stove, hot tub and outdoor sound system really enhanced our experience.

My family and I love to stay at the beaver lodge because of the view, privacy and amenities. The place is large and upgraded. Ronetta (the owner) makes sure your stay is a positive experience.

Wonderful home!

  • 5 of 5

We loved Beaver Lodge! The pictures online did not do it justice. The house had everything we needed - even for my 1 year niece! The deck was the perfect place for meals and the hot tub was so perfect after our many swims in the lake. We enjoyed playing pool and making meals in the kitchen. We highly recommend this wonderful home!

  • 4 of 5

Our family met here for a long weekend to do some bike riding. The house is in a great location with trails right outside. The house was veery comfortable and well appointed. I would definitely look at staying here again.

Perfect location and very comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 3 nights at the Beaver Lodge for a class that my husband was teaching in Kings Beach last month. This house ended up being absolutely perfect for us; and it is just how the pictures show. The upstairs is very open with the living room, kitchen and dining/pool table area all in great proximity; with all the sleeping areas downstairs. I cooked in the kitchen every night and had everything I needed; it is very well appointed. We had a few local guests over on 2 nights for dinner, and the space was perfect for entertaining with the pool table and dining area. I went in the hot tub each day; it worked magnificently and was awesome for relaxing with the location on the large deck off the living room. The house just has an overall great feel with nice tile in the kitchen, bathroom and entry, and beautiful floors upstairs. the master bed was comfortable and our other guest, another instructor in the class, said the bedroom he used was comfortable also. We did not use the 3rd bedroom with the double/single bunk bed. Overall I would highly recommend this rental in Kings Beach which is about a half mile up from the main road and lake on a very pretty, quiet street; which I walked up everyday to take my dog to the FS park open space trails; I love that the community is very dog friendly. I guess the only tiny complaint my husband and I was that we wished the master bedroom was a bit lighter; this was due to darker privacy glass in 2 of the windows. Of course this is totally minor, and we are already planning on staying at this house again for the next class in October. Thanks Ronetta for being wonderful to work with and providing such a lovely, dog friendly home in North Lake Tahoe. Cheers...
