About Stan & Helen Kiddle
Hi, we're Stan & Helen Kiddle. We met in 1979 and married in 1984 and have two grown-up children. We live in St Alban's Hertfordshire, just North of London were we grew up. We purchased No.28 Mikonos Player 'off-plan' in 2003 and took ownership in 2004. First and foremost it's our holiday home and therefore we like to think of our guests almost as part of our extended family. We hope that when you stay at no.28 you will treat it as you would your own home, and, most important, feel at home and relax. We have a number of guests who return year on year and, as you will expect, we give them the best possible pricing. But we do have a mortgage, cleaning and utility bills to pay for so if the price we quote sounds a little high, let us know and, if we can't reduce it for you, you will understand why. We just love talking to new clients about Duquesa, it's not quite as good as actually being there but it's the next best thing. So please please, do pick up the phone for a chat. Best wishes Stan & Helen Kiddle

Why Stan & Helen Kiddle chose Manilva
We choose Duquesa as it's close to all the best that the Costa Del Sol can offer with beach, pool, marina, shopping, golf and so much more close by and the big towns and small villages just a few minutes drive away. We choose Duquesa because it's the type of place that as a family, we like to holiday. It can be as relaxed or as busy as you choose. And we are sure you will love it too.

Owners were really helpful from the start of the booking process through to imminent arrival. Fully equipped apartment with lots of extras just in case like with us the weather wasn’t for the beach. Lovely location with plenary of bars and restaurants locally but even more if you turn left or right out of the port. Compared to the many other apartments we have booked through the years this was very comfortable and great value for money. Would definitely recommend!
Very easy booking process, excellent communication with owners. Fantastic relaxed location, 2 minute walk from lovely amenities. Highly recommended. Thank you Stan and Helen.
Well equipped and comfortable apartment, a real home from home. Very well placed near the port/harbour and all of it's bars and restaurants and other amenities. Not the best view from the terrace but it didn't bother us as we were out most of the time.
Lovely apartment, perfect location for visiting De La Dequesa without driving, secure underground car parking, keeping your car both cool and safe.
Stan could not be more helpful and very quick to respond to any query no matter how trivial.
The apartment is fully equipped for all your needs. Lovely pool area to relax by.
The only downsides were lack of views and proximity to a main road.
Thanks Neil, much appreciated. Of course, we too wish we had a sea view and were a little further away from the road .....we could charge a lot more then!!
The best value in the area
First,Stan was extremely helpful and went out of his way to answer a question I had regarding disabled access.
The apartment its self is wheelchair friendly, with more than adequate room to move around and the lift will take you to either the main entrance/pool level or the garage.Unfortunately the road and path are very steep and it is not practical for wheelchair use,We used the garage entrance which was lower down the hill to get in and out of the complex(on Stans advice).
The apartment was exactly as described, there was some noise from the A7 road but we soon got used to it and there was less traffic at night,
The marina (two mins from apartment )has the largest collection of bars and restaurants I have ever seen, with a variety of nationalities, all at a reasonable price, good quality and excellent service.
A short walk in either direction gets you to excellent beaches and to the adjacent resorts.
Overall a very good break and the best value by far in the area, thanks Stan.
Thanks Michael, our approach is to treat our guests as we hope to be treated on our own travels. Always a pleasure to help our guests have the best possible experience, we keep it simple and honest so everyone should be happy.
Hope we can accommodate you again sometime.
Just what we were looking for!
A perfect apartment that had everything we needed. Indeed, a home away from home!
Stan (the owner) is incredibly helpful and always responds to any questions in a timely manner.
The apartment has everything you could think of, including a private parking space in the underground garage - conveniently located close to the lift.
We travelled with our 2 children (aged 16 and13) and they both loved it as well, making use of the pool and the loungers beside the pool regularly.
The apartment is situated well and within a stroll to the beach and the marina.
Fantastic holiday and we will be back!
Thanks Andrew, a home away from home is exactly how we hope people will find it a it's our holiday home as well and we work hard to ensure it meets our needs as well as the needs and expectations of guests such as yourselves.
Looking forward to booking you back in another time :)
La Duquesa has undergone considerable development over the last few years. If you are driving towards Gibraltar, La Duquesa is on your way between Estepona and Sotogrande. It is regarded as the final major holiday resort location in the Malaga region before you enter Cadiz. Within the area you will find port of Duquesa, with its international restaurants and boutiques.
The port provides a full marina service for enthusiastic sailors, not to mention plenty of alternatives for those who prefer to admire the boats from the safety of one of the wide variety of restaurants, intimate bars and small cafes dotted around the port.
Roads leading away from the port take you to the hills of Duquesa and its golf course, the Duquesa Golf and Country Club. Numerous other golf clubs are a short drive away. Likewise, the main coastal highway takes you quickly to Marbella, Estapona and Puerto Banus. Head west past Gibraltar and you will find Tarifa, water sports capital of Spain.
