1 Double & 1 Twin or Double Room plus Sofa bed Sleeps 6 in total.
Charming, we loved it. Family of four, grade school aged kids, we found the perfect location to base our Scotland visit from the States. All we needed, close enough to town to walk but far out enough for quiet plus the Stockbridge neighborhood is quaint and lovely. Not a negative at all to report.
Cute apartment in a wonderful, cool area of the city!!
My friends and I loved this cute apartment! We wish were in Edinburgh longer to truly enjoy it! The surrounding neighborhood of Stockbridge was great, so many cute pubs, wine bars and restaurants and easy access to New Town sites and the river walk along the Leith! All good amenities (although the downstairs shower was a bit of an adventure!), beds were comfortable, quiet street, nice kitchen and all of the little touches (extra adaptors, bottle of wine upon our arrival), made it for a wonderful stay!
Beautiful flat, good location and very helpful owner.
A wonderful experience...
This was a great location in Edinburgh to use as a base for a vacation and for family visits. The house is very comfortable, well equipped and is located beautifully to get wherever you need to go whether it be on foot or by bus or whatever. We were made to feel welcome immediately and that just set the tone for a terrific visit to Edinburgh in general and Stockbridge in particular. The electronic information guide that was provided when the booking was completed was absolutely first class and very, very helpful.
This is a great property.
Excellently located, well-fitted flat
My friend and I started our 2 weeks in Scotland with 4 nights in this cozy, quiet Stockbridge flat. It's close to many shops and eateries, and the nearby bus lines quickly took us anyplace we wanted to visit. Be prepared for some stair climbing--but it's worth it! The owner was also quite accessible and greeted us when we arrived. I would definitely book again.
From America to Scotland, Grrrreat!
Welcomed with a delicious bottle of wine upon arrival. The flat was within walking distance of everything from coffee shops, barbers, pubs, co-ops and restaurants. A short cab away from the Edinburgh Castle (we walked it twice though). The host was very nice and accommodating. Modern look with everything a traveler needs to remind them of home. Loved the 90's cd's and the "travel tip" book, excellent personal reviews of places to see and eat. Made us feel like locals. Approved for a future stay, thanks!!
