This 4 bedroom 2 bath home is the perfect getaway, located on 11.5 acres just 4 miles off the interstate. The home is half way between Bozeman and Livingston. Even though these towns are convenient to get to, Timberline Lookout makes you feel alone at the top of the world. It offers pastoral mountain views from the house, patio and deck that expand out to include the entire Bridger Mountain Range. The views are really phenomenal. With its secluded location, it's a wonderful spot for a retreat for family and/or friends. 4 wheel drive is recommended.
The home has two bedrooms on the main floor and two in the basement. The first room has a queen size bed, and the second a king size bed, plus a twin bed. Downstairs the kid's room has two bunk beds, each with a full size bed on the bottom and a single bed above, the second room has a queen size bed. There is also a game-room with Foosball, Ping-Pong and Air Hockey.
The loft area has a television, VCR /DVD, Chromcast and HDMI cable. Timberline Lookout can accommodate up to eleven guests. On the main floor there is a full bath with tub and shower, and another large shower in the basement.
The open kitchen area has a gas range and oven, a microwave, coffee maker, and a nice supply of cookware and serving ware. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need. There is a bar style counter separating the kitchen from the rest of the living area. You will find stools at the counter for chatting with the cook or extra seating at meal time. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen, and the living room. The dining room table seats six comfortably.
The comfortable living room has a wood stove for those chilly evenings, a small stereo system, and doors out to the deck. The 800 square foot deck includes a gas grill, table, patio heater and other outdoor furniture for those evening barbecues.
There is hiking, fishing, horseback riding, white-water rafting and all Bozeman and Livingston have to offer. Great mountain biking is just minutes away from the home. Yellowstone Park and Big Sky are about an hour and a half from the home. There's so much to do!
