The most amazing weekend in years
We loved our glamping trip so much we are going to go back in two weeks. The owners are so fun and accommodating. It's all so wonderful!
Beautiful Mountain Escape
The glamping tents are a perfect upgrade to the traditional tent camping experience. The wooden deck was nice. The bed was comfy and there was seating and a vanity (no running water, but water available). Bonus points for having a shower available with hot water, Yay! The 80 acre ranch was very cute. We were greeted by "Bacon" the pig and saw some very friendly goats. A small creek ran through the property and a golf course was available on site (I'm sorry I don't golf, so no review on the course). Live music was available until 9-10ish Friday and Saturday evening at the restaurant. The on-site restaurant had great food! I highly recommend this fantastic mountain getaway. It was very relaxing and only twenty minutes from downtown Helena, MT. We enjoyed all Montana had to offer including Hiking, Hot Springs, Horse-back Riding, and even mining for Sapphires. Thank you Rene! We hope to be back in summers to come!
Thanks so much you guys would appreciate that glad you had a good experience I sure wish the state was burning up our Rene
Lovely farm...disappointing lake
The tent and the farm are darling, our kids loved checking on the animals, exploring the creek. Far enough off the road you fall asleep to the creek and not road noise. Comfy beds. Serviceable honey-bucket toilet. The downside was that there is really nothing to do near the lake. The marina was underwhelming for coffee and muffins and the boat rental options were minimal. We stayed here thinking the lake would be really fun to explore, but were disappointed. Town was cute...but a 30+ minute drive.
