Wonderful stay in Glasgow
We enjoyed the apartment, and the location in Glasgow. We ran into traffic/parade driving over from Edinburgh, so almost didn't make it in time to pick up the key at the office, so make sure you have a back up plan. We enjoyed the location, and walked all over Glasgow
The Library Apartment was perfect. It was well stocked with everything we needed, super clean and comfortable, in a very convenient location, and was a wonderful home away from home. Looking forward to my next trip to Scotland and hoping to stay here again!
Family of 2 adults and 2 children
1) Location is convenient for exploring Glasgow
2) Owner has really good handout on everything in the apartment
3) Spacious and well laid out
4) No noise from other tenants
5) Kitchen is well stocked
6) Wifi works well
7) Convenient access to keys to enter apartment
2 things to note:
1) The street noise/people going to and from the bars is quite loud. There were many times between 10:30 pm - 1:30 am that I could have sworn people were conversing right next to the bed where we were sleeping. There were ear plugs in the nightstands for us.
2) The shower water pressure was very low.
Thank you for your review. I am pleased that overall you enjoyed your stay.
The apartment is very central so some noise is unavoidable. Indeed that is why we supply the ear plugs in case you are a light sleeper.
This was a delightful flat with very tasteful decor. The bonus is it’s location- close to everything! Close to both train stations, shops, restaurants, pretty much anything you need. We actually met Ronnie and his wife as they handed the keys over, and they were great. Would definitely stay here again!
Couldn't have asked for more!
What a wonderful experience we had with renting this flat. From the beginning of the process...reserving the rental through the entire stay...arrival and departure, Ronnie remained easily accessible via email and phone, if necessary. The flat itself is exactly as described. Perfect, safe location...with all necessary ammenities for a relaxing stay. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to family and friends and would certainly love to stay here again if traveling to Glasgow.
Clean and close to everything
The flat was very conveniently close to everything in the city center. It got alittle loud at night as the bars on the street got out but otherwise a pleasant stay
I am pleased you found the location so convenient. Unfortunately with a city centre flat there is bound to be some noise. As you say you still had a pleasant stay, I am glad it did not detract from the enviable location and comfortable accommodation
The location for the Library Apartment is second to none. It really is Glasgow city centre. You couldnt be better located which makes it very convenient to sample all that Glasgow has to offer. lt is also in the heart of the Merchant City with its cutting edge theatres, galleries, shops, cafes and restaurants . The exact location is Miller St- very close to all transport such as subway (metro) stations, train stations and buses. A car is not required but if you bring one parking is available close by. The main square, George Square is only yards away. Glasgow's famous shopping streets are literally on your doorstep and art galleries such as The Gallery of Modern art are less than a block away. The SECC exhibition centre is minutes away and also the Glasgow Art Gallery & Museum -home to Salvador Dali's famous painting of Christ. The location is quiet and has restaurants and bars and traditional pubs on the doorstep. It is only 1 hour away to Loch Lomond and to the Trossachs
Other Activities: Theatres, restaurants, shopping, supermarkets, museums - everything you could possibly want is nearby!
