Year Purchased: 2003
About the owner: We purchased this darling cottage when our girls were younger. It's been a great place to get away over the years.Whether it be for a quiet retreat, a ski weekend, hunting or a summer vacation on Green Lake, we've enjoyed having the cottage at our disposal. Now our girls are married with children of their own. We make it up to the cottage occasionally, but thought we would share our piece of serenity for those wishing to rent for an extended period.
Why the Owner Chose Interlochen, MI, USA:
This peaceful cottage was the original homestead/cottage on Birch Point. People have been vacationing here for years and we recognized a gem when we found it. Interlochen Fine Arts camp can be seen from the lakefront. This would be a great rental for families attending the camp.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
The great room has a beautiful brick wood-burning fireplace with a large hearth. Two glass sliders open up to a large screen porch that faces the lake. Be it summer or winter, it makes for a beautiful setting.
