My wife and I are both working professionals. I have a small business devoted to the care and restoration of residential flooring and my wife is a licensed nursing home administrator enjoying a long career at one of the State's largest not for profit care facilities. Born from this is a wonderful melding of home comfort and design and a sensitive caring nature aimed to create an environment that promotes, comfort, relaxation, and peace of mind. We have strived to think of everything one may need or want when staying in our home, and whenever possible react to accommodate special requests. Our special interests almost exclusively involve the outdoors and travel. We believe in and practice good nutrition and exercise regularily which enhances our ability to enjoy the outdoors. Our travels almost always include activities such as, hiking, kayaking, skiing and running. Good food , good wine and good health is our moto and enjoying life is what we look to do every day.

Why John chose South Side
We live here in Houston in the same community as this home. We wanted a property that we could be close to in order to service our guests more effectively and promptly. Being close to the medical center can bring us guests with special requirements or needs and we being sensitive to this are here to help in any way we can. We are literally minutes from anywhere you may wish to go. The best Restaurants, Galleria, Museums, Downtown businesses, Profession Sports Complexes, are just minutes away. Nasa is about 35 - 40 minutes south of here and Galveston about an hour.
What makes this House unique
Location, location, location. The home is located minutes from all major freeways that will take one to all corners of the city. Being minutes from the medical center, museums restaurants, theaters, sports complexes and work, without the hassle of long rush hour commutes enhances our quality of life by having more leisure hours in a day. This community is unique for an inner city developement as it devotes a tremendous amount of it's acreage to green space. More over having this, in a gated community having the enhancement of 24/7 security brings tremendous peace of mind.

We stayed at this property for one week in June 2017. The property was as described. Immaculately clean and extremely well equipped with high-end furnishings and appliances. John was great, always promptly responsive to our needs. The location was perfect for our purposes.

The property was clean and matched the pictures. It was finished very nicely and had plenty of the basics on hand to get your stay off to a great start . Reasonable and Clear instructions and expectations! Owners went above and beyond helping us plan things to do, dining in options when the kids were tired, and even blew up a pool floaty for the kids! Will definitely stay at this property again if back in the area!
Amazing, amazing, property!
I've been traveling for a living for the past 8 years and this was my second time staying in this property. In all of my years of travel I have used VRBO and Airbnb. We stayed here for the month of February and have already booked a time to return next year. It is in a great location. For us it worked out well, only 10 minutes from our daughter and her family's home. Plenty of room, very well furnished. All the basics (plus some additional) supplies were there when we walked in. John and his wife are very, very nice and personally want the best for their guests. Always someone on security. We never saw any problems when we were there. Washer and dryer, located in the 2 car garage, were in excellent condition and I sure appreciated that. Our two grandsons stayed with us a few times and they thought it was "the best place ever". It is located in a convenient area so there's easy access to the highway. I highly recommend this location if you are traveling to Houston. A very positive experience!

and great taste in the décor, comfortable leather sofa and chairs and SS grill out in the secluded patio that we used almost every night. I travel for a living and I spend time looking for places that offer comfort, location, clean and all the updated and this one without a doubt was a HOMERUN.
To top it off, I had the pleasure to get to know John and he is remarkable and trustworthy person and went out of his way to make sure that we were pleased with our stay. So highly recommended and I know I'll be back.
We rented the townhouse for 6 weeks while we were in town from overseas to visit family in Houston. The location was great. Central location with access to many Houston area restaurants, museums, and zoo all in 10 minutes or less drive. John and Marsha were wonderful hosts who were respondent to every need during booking, and during our say. The townhouse has all the amenities of home including water and dryer and attached garage with opener. The townhouse was very clean upon arrival, and we never had safety concerns with the area or complex. The internet and netflix were great perks. We definitely have plans to say here again!
Houston boasts one of the nations top Zoos. The Houston Zoo is located minutes away adjacent to the Texas Medical Center in Hermann Park. Hermann Park along with the Zoo also offers, running trails, golf course, outdoor theater, botanical gardens, Japanese gardens and a reflection pool. All of the Houston Museums are located between the house and the Hermann Park area, minutes from home. The Houston Fine Arts Museum, Museum of Natural Science & Man & The Childrens Museum are also some of the nations best.

Additional information about rental rates
Refunds on cancelled reservations are handled on a case by case basis. Reservations made further out than 60 days require a nominal deposit to hold the dates, this fee is goes toward the total rental rate and is non-refundable. We require 50% of the balance 60 days prior to arrival and the balance 30 days prior to arrival to help accommodate guests billing cycles.
