Clean, Quiet and very comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was very clean and well taken care of. The location was beautiful and quiet. There is a trail that goes down the hill to the creek, a nice place to hang out and enjoy nature. Also a great way to get some exercise hiking back up the hill. The king size memory foam bed was oh so comfortable. We were there when it was very cold so a lot of time was spend in front of the fireplace. The owners are extremely nice and really care that you enjoy your stay. There are not a lot of things to do right in that area but it is only a 30 min scenic drive to Cashiers, Gorges State Park and some other things - hiking, waterfalls, lake etc.

Well stocked and well maintained home. My wife really enjoyed the "home like" qualities of the cabin. Our dog had a lot of fun exploring the grounds. We hope We can return soon.

Couldn't have asked for it to be better!!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is immaculately kept. We cooked alot at the cabin and can't think of anything it wasn't equipped with. Very at home feel to this cabin. I can tell the owners love this place. There is a great little walk down to a creek that has picnic table and a fire pit. Beautiful little walk and view.

Excellent cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time. Cabin is well stocked, convenient to areas to hike and explore. Mountain time is always the best place to be. We live at the beach but would rather stay in the mountains. Convenient to cashier's, balsam lake, brevard, blue Ridge parkway, Nantahala, too much to list. Definitely will be back to this cabin. Although it was cold and rainy we did spend time down by the stream and just kicked backed and relaxed.

A great 4 days!

  • 5 of 5

This was a perfect place for my sister and me, artists, and my writer husband. Its location was better than I could have imagined, perched at the dead-end of a ridgetop high in the mountains between Cullowhee, Brevard, and Cashiers, a convenient drive to those towns and to the wonderful waterfalls below Sapphire. Especially nice was the long trail around and below the cabin by a charming creek, with a set-up for picnics and grilling. The ‘rustic-modern’ cabin was delightful, clean and well-equipped. We loved the views, the quiet, and the location, perfect for bird-watching and photography. Dog Gracie could explore and found wonderful things to sniff and my husband began a new novel.
