Excellent cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time. Cabin is well stocked, convenient to areas to hike and explore. Mountain time is always the best place to be. We live at the beach but would rather stay in the mountains. Convenient to cashier's, balsam lake, brevard, blue Ridge parkway, Nantahala, too much to list. Definitely will be back to this cabin. Although it was cold and rainy we did spend time down by the stream and just kicked backed and relaxed.

A great 4 days!

  • 5 of 5

This was a perfect place for my sister and me, artists, and my writer husband. Its location was better than I could have imagined, perched at the dead-end of a ridgetop high in the mountains between Cullowhee, Brevard, and Cashiers, a convenient drive to those towns and to the wonderful waterfalls below Sapphire. Especially nice was the long trail around and below the cabin by a charming creek, with a set-up for picnics and grilling. The ‘rustic-modern’ cabin was delightful, clean and well-equipped. We loved the views, the quiet, and the location, perfect for bird-watching and photography. Dog Gracie could explore and found wonderful things to sniff and my husband began a new novel.

A little piece of heaven

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was precious! If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful , relaxing get away this is it. The property is very well maintained . I so enjoyed having my coffee on the front porch every morning and listening to the creek. So relaxing! The area is beautiful and enjoyed just riding and looking at the beautiful scenery. The bed in master bedroom very comfortable. The owners were very helpful in helping us prepare for our stay, and I am already looking forward to a return trip. This place definitely has a thumbs up. I would recommend to anyone. CDP Louisiana

Quiet !

  • 5 of 5

This property was nicely appointed with all the comforts of home. The location is very quiet & beautiful. During our 5 night stay, we never heard another car or any other man made sounds. This size of the property was perfect for us. We especially enjoyed the snow that came on night #1.

Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I just returned from a 4-night stay at this wonderful cabin in the woods. Everything was as described; the cabin was clean, nicely furnished, very comfortable...and the front porch...I could have spent the week in the swing with a book. Some friends joined us for a couple of days, and we all agreed that we want to return...and maybe next time it won't rain everyday. We truly felt that this was a "home away from home," and our two toy poodles even seemed to feel right home. We will definitely recommend this cabin to our friends. We loved it!!
