This one bedroom apartment is in a perfect area for anyone who is visiting the Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital Center complex as it is right across the street. The apartment is located on the 5th floor of this elevator building, looking across Broadway so the bedroom especially is very bright during the daytime. The apartment has just been completely renovated and the kitchen and the bathroom are entirely new. The kitchen is outfitted with stainless steel appliances - full size refrigerator, GE dishwasher, ceramic-topped electric stove - a beautiful black granite counter top with matching granite floor. The bathroom is decorated with modern fixtures, an elegant walk-in shower with frosted glass panel.

This apartment is ideally situated on the desirable Washington Heights area of Manhattan in a vibrant neighborhood in the midst of The Presbyterian Hospital complex. There are many wonderful restaurants nearby, and the subway stop is right on the corner which can take you quickly and easily down to midtown Manhattan, all of the other fantastic neighborhoods, and the other boroughs. Nearby stores are available to accommodate your every need. Right in the building itself, we have a Starbucks Coffee, as well as an excellent cafe, 24 hour deli, bagel store, Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant, pharmacy and nail salon and spa. All other shops are within a few block radius of the building. The location is ideal for visiting the hospital, and for anyone who wants to experience a New York City stay with a real neighborhood feel. A short ride on the subway will connect you to midtown Manhattan where you can experience the renowned Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue shopping 'mecca' including flagship department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and Barneys, Tiffany's and the Nike Store, the iconic Apple store on Fifth Avenue across from the Plaza Hotel, cultural sites like the famous Fifth Avenue 'Museum Mile' with the Metropolitan Museum and Guggenheim, as well as tourist attractions such as Central Park, Rockefeller Center, MoMa Modern Art Museum, and of course Times Square and the Broadway Theater District.

You will receive an email with detailed instructions for accessing the apartment upon your arrival at the building. Our check in time is 3:00 PM in the afternoon and we offer ‘self’ check in which allows immediate access to the apartment. TV SERVICE- we have limited basic TV channels only (no cable), and free Netflix movies as well as free wifi with basic streaming capability. Please note that the wifi is intended for basic residential use only such as emails, and not for heavy download of large data files. SUPPLIES Upon check in, the apartment will be supplied with all of the basic supplies that you will need for the initial part of your stay such as dish soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, body wash. Once these supplies have been depleted, it will be the responsibility of the guest to replenish any items that they need for the remainder of the stay. The host will not re-stock the apartment with supplies during the guest's stay. LAUNDRY ROOM The laundry room is located on the lower level of the building and will be available to guests upon request during the following hours: Weekdays (Monday through Friday) 6PM - 8:30PM, and Saturday mornings from 8:30AM - 11AM. Guests must send an email to the management office at least 24 hours in advance in order to request access to the laundry room, which will be granted on a first come first serve basis. TRASH We kindly request that you dispose of any trash from your apartment on a daily basis. PETS. Additional charge of $250 per pet, per month if accepted. Must be 25 pounds or less & trained. 1. ADDITIONAL GUESTS. In the event the actual number of guests staying in the apartment exceeds the number indicated on the confirmed reservation, regardless of how many guests the apartment can accommodate in total, the guest acknowledges that they will be responsible to pay the additional daily per person charge. All extra guests will be charged for the entire term of the booking, regardless of the length of their stay in the apartment. At no time may the number of guests exceed the maximum number of guests allowable in the apartment. Children 24 months and under can stay free of charge, but must be counted as part of the number of guests. We offer a pack-n-play portable crib free of charge, available on a first come first serve basis- supplies limited. 2. EXTRA GUEST CHARGE This studio apartment sleeps a maximum of 2 guests. The nightly rate indicated on the listing is for the first 2 guests. Additional guests will each be charged $50 per night for the duration of the booking term. 3. APARTMENT KEYS & ELECTRONIC FOBS There are 2 sets of keys on the table inside the apartment. The small grey plastic key fob that is also on the key ring is an electronic access key for access to the building front door. From now on, you must use the grey key fob to enter the front door of the building from the street by placing it next to the red light adjacent to the intercom panel. 4. PASSPORT. The host may ask for a guest's passport for international travelers, or government issued ID for local guests upon checking in, or following the check in, for security reasons. 5. CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEE. In the event that there are any additional charges incurred during the stay that are not a part of the initial reservation, there will be a 3% fee charged on any credit card payment for extra services not included in the bookings. 6. NO MAIL & PACKAGES. There is no mail or package delivery in this apartment. 7. HOLD HARMLESS & INDEMNIFICATION. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guest shall hold harmless and indemnify Host from any and all losses, claims, liability, lawsuits, allegations, expenses of any kind arising out of or in connection with the booking, including but not limited to injury to person and/or property, as well as any consequential damages, attorney fees, costs and/or expenses arising therof. Such obligation on the part of the Guest shall exist regardless of any actual or alleged negligence or fault on the part of the Host. By accepting this booking, the Guest agrees to abide by the above hold harmless clause. The Guest expressly agrees to hold the Host harmless from any loss or liability that may arise during the term of the stay at this property and acknowledges that the Host is not responsible for any loss whatsoever. APARTMENT RULES..... NO SMOKING! 1. There is absolutely NO SMOKING allowed in the apartment or anywhere on the building premises, including in front of the building entrance. We aim to maintain a smoke-free environment in and around this building. 2. NO CANDLES. Any Candles that burn with a real lit flame are strictly forbidden as they are a fire risk hazard and risk the safety of everyone in the building. Even candles that are contained in a protective glass are not allowed. 3. Kindly be considerate of others in the building and we request that you do not host loud parties or play music in such a way that will disturb the neighbors. 4. All areas of the building besides the specific apartment indicated in the reservation, the lobby and public hallways and the lower level garbage area and laundry room are strictly off limits for safety reasons. 5. As Host, Splendid Apartments reserves the right to access the apartment periodically during the Guest’s stay, even when the Guest is not in for routine maintenance, similar to a hotel accommodation, as well as checking to be sure that all local fire codes and health department codes are well maintained and that house rules are being complied with. This is for the safety and benefit of the guest, as well as all of the other residents of the building. Our team will always knock before entering the apartment, and will only do so at reasonable hours so as not to disturb Guests and their privacy. In addition, dates when the building will be serviced by the exterminator in the company of our building manager are posted in the lobby for the convenience of the Guest- and Guests do not need to be present at that time unless they prefer. By making a reservation and submitting payment through this site for any of our properties, the Guest hereby acknowledges and accepts the terms specified above and agrees that Splendid Apartments has the right to enter the apartment during their stay without prior notice and agrees to comply with same. 6. Splendid Apartments reserves the express right to cancel any Guest at any time during their stay without advance notice, if it deemed that they pose a risk to themselves, the property, and/or the well-being of other tenants in the building. Furthermore, at the discretion of the management, any Guest who arrives for check in, that is perceived to pose a risk of any kind, will immediately be denied access to the rental property and will receive a full refund for the booking. By making a reservation and submitting payment through this site for any of our properties, the Guest hereby acknowledges and accepts the terms specified above and agrees to comply with same. 7. In the event that any guest does not check out of the apartment at the expiration of the booking term on the designated date and time, as host, Splendid Apartments reserves the express right to pack all of the guest’s personal belongings and store them safely, at no charge, until the guest is able to collect them personally.
