January 2019 Stay
Avoid unit 1203w! The furniture is old, worn, outdated and stained. The TVs are incredibly old, tube models. The walls and carpet are stained, scratched and scuffed. Huge water stains on the bathroom wall and ceiling. It feels gross and dirty even if it is clean. The ceiling fan didn't work on arrival, waiting to see if it gets fixed now. Three lights were burned out on arrival. If they get inspected between guests it isn't very thorough. The repairs needed in this unit fall on the owner, but the management company needs to hold them responsible or not lease this unit.
July 2018 Stay
We stayed in room 1203. The kitchen was grossly under stocked, can opener and toaster did not work. The furniture in the bedroom, bed and blind were very dusty. The pull out couch mattress was too old and uncomfortable to be used. The complex was fine, as well as the staff. Would not stay in the same room again.

We did try reaching out to you but we were unable to get an answer. I apologize that you felt housekeeping did not do as good a job as they should have and that the unit was not as updated as you had hoped. In the future please feel free to report any maintenance and housekeeping issues to us as they occur and we would be happy to address them to the best of our ability. In regards to the unit being outdated, I will pass this information along to the owner of the condo. Calypso Resort PCB, FL Bad Experience!
This is the first time we have rented a condo, and we were looking forward to spending two weeks in Panama City Beach, FL. The picture we saw online looked nice. However, after we checked in and entered our condo, we were very disappointed. The furniture and carpet is very dated, but the condition of the walls were worse. They are scratched and dented and need to be repainted. There are also problems with the microwave and stove. I don't know who is responsible for the condition of the condos or how customers are matched with the units, but the condition of this condo would be unacceptable to most renters. We hoped this would be a good place to spend a couple of weeks each winter. Indeed, Panama City Beach may be a location we return to, but we will not return to the Sterling Calypso resort.
Love Calypso just not impressed with management company or this unit
We have stayed at Calypso in the past, have never rented from Sterling Management Co. The unit needs a lot of updates, outlets are a fire hazard when plugging something into them device will not stay plugged. Furniture needs replacing as does mattress, unit needs painting,several broken tiles and needs grout redone,washer squeals when in spin cycle and dryer has rust in it. We told the rep on site when we checked in there was no coffee and only one hand towel and wash cloth for two bathrooms she said she would inform housekeeping but never heard from them. This would be a great unit if some updates were done.
