Great luxury rental in Rome located on Via Monterone, a short walk from the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. The noble family of senior officials of the Holy See and the Capitol Sinibaldi di Monteleone di Spoleto ordered to build this palace on a group of medieval houses which once belonged to the Monterone di Siena family, after which the street was named, and after them to the Vittori, the Perretti and in the XVI century they were purchased by the Nari. In 1829 the Latin Academy was there, and after 1870 the Roman Prefecture was there. Moreover, in that building there were the Roman Archaeology Academy, the New Lincei Academy and the Arcadi Academy. The apartment is located on the 1st floor without elevator. It is comprised of a living room with a sofa and a living area, a large double bedroom, a modern, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with tub and shower. It features air conditioning, satellite TV, stereo system, computer with Wi-Fi internet connection, washing machine and dishwasher. Its modern, excellent design furnishing, high wooden ceilings and high quality parquet floors in all rooms complete this excellent vacation rental.

Terrific location and terrific Property Manager, Giuseppe
Giuseppe helped us buy train tickets. He was concerned we needed to get it done now. He made several trips to help us get it accomplished. Because of the Rome marathon, Giuseppe was concerned we couldn't get to the train station. He made a special trip at 7am to get us a taxi to insure we made it to the terminal.
You can't beat having a grocery store right below the apartment.
The location is so close to everything, We could walk back to our apartment, rest then go out again. Thanks to Giuseppe's attention, availability and insight we had a great time in Rome.
our own little home in rome
this apartment was just what we wanted. so great to have fully equipped kitchen. & sweet terrace. the building is, of course, very old which adds to the charm. perfectly clean.
there is a swell market next door for groceries, wine, fresh lasagne/pizza.
the location couldn't be better. about 2 minutes walk to Pantheon. easy reach for campo de fiori. all top sights walkable.
Giuseppe was terrific. he even arranged a car for us from the airport. (48 euro). handy to find the driver with our name when we arrived.
i would highly recommend this apartment. location the BEST! we'll stay again some day...
Perfect centro storico location, close to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona
We had a wonderful time and Giuseppe was very gracious and communicative. A spacious and clean apartment with everything you need.
Great location and terrace!
We stayed three nights in the apartment. The street is very quiet for being so close to major attractions like the Pantheon, and in an interesting neighborhood--many shops sell liturgical garments and church related things. Everything is clean and comfortable, wifi is great, easy to walk everywhere or get buses nearby, and the terrace is wonderful. We have been to Rome many times so we didn't tourist assistance, but Guiseppe would be very helpful for anyone who needs this. Thanks!
Excellent apartment with terrace
We stayed 3 nights with our teenage children in this apartment. The owner, Guiseppe, was very kind and helpfull. This apartment is perfectly situated in a nice and calm neighbourhood, you can buy your groceries just around the corner and it's at a walking distance from Pantheon/Piazza Navona. The apartment is clean with a comfy bed and we especially enjoyed our terrace, highly recommended !
Perfect for us
Close to everything, but just that small bit off the tourist push in the area. Manager is very busy, but accommodating in every way. Decorated in nuovo IKEA, it was perfect for us for the 9 nights since only the very distant places we wanted to see were not proximate and the terrace was superb. If you plan to meet some Italian friends, do so on a Sunday since this is in the historic district with substantial traffic and parking regulations. Some very good restaurants around, but only the very nice (4 to 5 stars in food and price). Supermarket close-by. Thanks to Giuseppe for making it happen.
