Watch the sunset from the deck on the Bay and walk one block to the Beach

Stay in the most exclusive neighborhood on LBI. We recently renovated the house to sell it and then unlisted it for the summer. The house is like new and it's now available to rent. Saturday to Saturday rentals in season and weekends in pre and post season. We have three season weeks remaining at a reduced rate. Most of June and September are available at only $2,500 per week or weekend. Our house is located on the most exclusive part of Long Beach Island, Loveladies, only 500 feet from the bay and 1 block to the beach on your private easement. The sunsets are amazing from the great room and the big decks. Also, ideal location for walking and riding your bikes to the lighthouse park on the quiet and much safer bay road only one block from our easement.

We do not rent to large group parties, we prefer families coming to the beach to relax and have fun.

The house is ideal for a family with children or a romantic getaway for a happy couple. We painted the interior, power washed all the decks and tightened up the landscaping in the offseason. There are three bedrooms on the first level, and the master is on the second level with the great room and balcony with beautiful sunset views. The house works for a family as well as a NY city high roller entertaining guests. We recently updated the kitchen, painted the interior and landscaped the entire property. Bring your beach chairs, bicycles, sup and kayaks and have a good old beach vacation spending valuable time on the water.

You will love the sunsets from the balcony, paddling the bay, bike riding and hiking on High Bar Harbor and of course, the beautiful white sand beaches. Long Beach Island is the big secret on the east coast.

About David Martin

This is our family beach house that we bought when I was 15 years old. I'm not 15 anymore, I'm 48 and my Dad is 88 and he lives in Naples Florida all year. So I manage the house for my father. Every year I spend a week in the Spring preparing the house for our summer rentals. The gardens look great, we painted the interior and power washed all the decks. Looks brand new.

Why David Martin chose Long Beach Island

This property is in the prime location on LBI. This is the thinnest part of the island. You are three houses from the bay to go kayaking and 1 block to the ocean and have a beautiful sunset view. We are located 1 block south of the Bay road that leads to the end of the Island, which is much safer for you and your children to walk or ride your bicycles than Long Beach Blvd.

What makes this house unique

If you like beautiful sunsets this is the romantic house for you. If you have children it's only 1 block to the beach. We are also pet friendly with beautiful gardens. If you SUP or Kayak, you will live less than 500 feet from the lagoon on the bay where you can access the bay on our easement.

My husband and I rented this house to be near our friends in Barnegat Light. The location was great and the kitchen fully equipped. It's private and quiet and we were very grateful for the AC since it was a hot week. We would rent again in a heartbeat. Only complaint was tv in living room that did not function very well.

Cozy, Convenient House Close to the Beach

This house was perfect for our Memorial Weekend stay. It was a quick 2-hour commute from New York city by car (or by the TransportAzumah bus) and the house had all of the amenities we needed for a fun weekend. It wasn't anything super fancy, but it was cozy with plenty of beds, blankets and an updated kitchen. There's also a deck and a grill that we used to grill out. It's a short walk to the beach and less than a block to the inlet (with an awesome sunset!). It's also very close to the lighthouse and several shops & restaurants, just a quick jog or short car ride. David, the homeowner, was also very responsive, friendly and easy to work with. I definitely see us renting from him again. Thanks for such a great stay!

Great Beach House

Our family had a great Holiday week at this beach house. Very big and spacious home to accommodate everyone in our group. The two living room areas were great because with all the children in our group they were able to have their own space to play and watch television. Very close to the bay, and a 6 minute walk to the beach.

Nice house

This house is well stocked with soap, TP, towels, wash cloths, kitchen stuff. What is lacking, and to me a huge negative is that there is only ONE TV. And that TV is in the downstairs gathering area which is small and cramped. Why in the world would there not be a TV in the large second floor great room is byond me. There is a cable outlet in this room which I found out after calling the owner is not active.

On positive notes, the house was very clean, in a quiet area of Loveladies, plenty of parking, and David was fantastic to work with, easy to contact and very responsive-much appreciated.

BTW, the house is more than one block from the ocean but has private access to a beautiful, wide beach.

Great Family Beach House

Great house for a large family group! We had 2 couples, 3 kids and a grandma and fit easily. One block from the Bay and two from gorgeous, wide ocean beach near the Loveladies/Barnegat Light line. Good kitchen, nice hang out room with great sunset views to the Bay, nice decks all around. A very practical, useful beach house. Nothing super fancy, but it fit our needs perfectly.

Pet and Multi-family friendly

House was conveniently located to both bay and beach. There is private access to the beach, which was not crowded and quite pleasant. Plenty of towels and kitchen items available for use. The owner was easy to reach and accommodating. Be aware that although it is pictured, there is no hot tub.

Owner's Response: The hot tub was 18 years old and we had to remove it from the lower deck in early July. We took hot tub off the amenities list.
