Watch the Sunset on the Bay and walk one block to the Beach

Sold Out this season. Live in the most exclusive neighborhood on LBI, 1 block to your private Beach on your private easement. The sunsets are amazing from the great room and the big decks. Also, ideal location for walking and riding your bikes to the lighthouse park on the quiet and much safer bay road only one block from our easement.

We do not rent to large group parties, we prefer families coming to the beach to relax and have fun.

The house is ideal for a family with children or a romantic getaway for a happy couple. We painted the interior, power washed all the decks and tightened up the landscaping in the offseason. There are three bedrooms on the first level, and the master is on the second level with the great room and balcony with beautiful sunset views. The house works for a family as well as a NY city high roller entertaining guests. We recently updated the kitchen, painted the interior and landscaped the entire property. Bring your beach chairs, bicycles, sup and kayaks and have a good old beach vacation spending valuable time on the water.

You will love the sunsets from the balcony, paddling the bay, bike riding and hiking on High Bar Harbor and of course, the beautiful white sand beaches. Long Beach Island is the big secret on the east coast.

About David Martin

This is our family beach house that we bought when I was 15 years old. I'm not 15 anymore, I'm 49 1/2, and my Dad is 89, and he lives in Naples Florida all year. So I manage the house for my father. Every year I spend a week in the Spring preparing the house for our summer rentals. The gardens look great, we painted the interior and power washed all the decks. Looks brand new.

This property is in the prime location on LBI. This is the thinnest part of the island. You are three houses from the bay to go kayaking and 1 block to the ocean and have a beautiful sunset view. We are located 1 block south of the Bay road that leads to the end of the Island, which is much safer for you and your children to walk or ride your bicycles than Long Beach Blvd.

What makes this house unique

If you like beautiful sunsets this is the romantic house for you. If you have children it's only 1 block to the beach. We are also pet friendly with beautiful gardens. If you SUP or Kayak, you will live less than 500 feet from the lagoon on the bay where you can access the bay on our easement.

Attractive, spacious, comfortable, very conveniently situated beach rental

Attractive, very spacious and comfortable beach rental—great home base for a wonderful LBI vacation. The house is on a private easement directly off Long Beach Blvd, 4 houses in from the boulevard and two houses from the bay. From the house it is a very short easy walk to a large dock on bay side with facilities for launching boats and kayaks, and a short walk (less than 2 blocks total) back across the Blvd, past the several houses on the ocean side easement, to reach the private walkway and stairs over the dunes leading to the beach. The beach is wide and quiet, with no lifeguard, but just a short walk in either direction to guarded sections of beach. Note that beach tags are required on this beach. The house is very large, attractively furnished, and includes in addition to the 4 bedrooms a pullout couch on ground level. House is extremely well stocked with kitchen implements, dishes, foil and plastic wraps, napkins, cleaning equipment, laundry, bath and dish/dishwasher soaps (no shampoo indoors), towels, pillows, linens, blankets, pretty much everything you could want. Very nice outdoor shower with soap and shampoo, big outdoor storage closet with many beach chairs (bring your own umbrella), lots of off road parking (6 or more cars). 2 large decks with nice chairs, loungers and propane grill, and lovely sunsets to go with them; smaller deck off master bedroom. And good ac if too hot to sit on the decks! Easy bike ride or drive to Barnegat Light and the walking paths and shops near it. The ample shops, restaurants and amusements of Harvey Cedars and Surf City just 10-15 min car ride. Owner David was responsive and couldn’t be nicer. There is a vacant lot covered with wood chips between this property and the next house down the easement towards the bay, but imagine someone will be developing this vacant property in future which will improve that street view. Not a major drawback in my opinion and I would absolutely rent this house again if available.

Perfect!!

This was truly a home away from home. The owner David went the extra mile to make sure that we had everything we needed. This was a family gathering with my husband and five kids and it was very comfortable. The beach is a short walk across the street and the sunsets are amazing. Plenty of parking as well. Thank you David for the memories!!

My husband and I rented this house to be near our friends in Barnegat Light. The location was great and the kitchen fully equipped. It's private and quiet and we were very grateful for the AC since it was a hot week. We would rent again in a heartbeat. Only complaint was tv in living room that did not function very well.

Cozy, Convenient House Close to the Beach

This house was perfect for our Memorial Weekend stay. It was a quick 2-hour commute from New York city by car (or by the TransportAzumah bus) and the house had all of the amenities we needed for a fun weekend. It wasn't anything super fancy, but it was cozy with plenty of beds, blankets and an updated kitchen. There's also a deck and a grill that we used to grill out. It's a short walk to the beach and less than a block to the inlet (with an awesome sunset!). It's also very close to the lighthouse and several shops & restaurants, just a quick jog or short car ride. David, the homeowner, was also very responsive, friendly and easy to work with. I definitely see us renting from him again. Thanks for such a great stay!
