This is a first floor duplex with 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan as well as the living room. There are 2 flatscreen TV's in 2 of the bedrooms as well as one in the living room. The unit has been totally renovated in 2012 including a trex deck, granite and tile kitchen with new dishwasher and refrigerator, L shaped sofa and a dining table for 8 which overlooks the deck and ultimately the ocean view.
We are the 3rd house from the ocean and on the beach access. It is a great place for families as older children can go back and forth from the beach as there is no road to cross.
We offer off street parking for 4 cars, possibly more.
There is a washer and dryer for this floor only. We have an outside shower which is also for the exclusive use of the first floor renters.
We are empty nesters who are now in our second shore rental property. We sold our smaller unit this winter and ultimately hope to retire in this unit. We have a family of 3 children with 3 grandchildren and knew that this property was just what we needed and wanted.

The ocean view is extraordinary and takes your breath away. It is wonderful to be able to enjoy this view both inside, at the dining room table, as well as out on the deck. Since the upper deck is fiberglassed, the deck is protected from the elements, such as rain or the hot sun.
Proximity to the beach. Plenty of parking.
My husband and I have had the pleasure of staying in this condo for two summers in a row. We have stayed up and down the island and this condo is at the top of our list. We bring my sister and our two kids, ages 5 and 8, and there is plenty of room for everyone. The condo is clean and comfortable. The first floor laundry and storage area are great - perfect spot to store your beach gear. The deck is wonderful - the view is beautiful and we love to watch the dolphins swim by while we enjoy our morning coffee.
The proximity to the beach can't be beat - it's no problem to run back to the condo for snacks and drinks or lunch, or to get that one toy that one of the kids "has to" have :)
There is an ice cream parlor at the end of the block on the boulevard and you can also stop in for bagels in the morning. A lot of great restaurants are nearby and it's a short ride to Fantasy Island and Bay Village.
The owners of the condo are very easy to work with and they take the time to call during your stay to make sure everything is okay - that was a nice touch!
We are looking forward to the Summer of 2016!
Long Beach Island has a carefree, relaxed atmosphere. Most, if not all, restaurants welcome shorts and a golf shirt as proper attire. Fantasy Island is an area of amusement rides for all ages which has eclectic shops housed on a clipper ship. Barnegat Lighthouse welcomes visitors to climb to the top for a panoramic view of the north end of the island. Holgate, on the south end, houses a natural bird preserve.
