3 bedroom 2 bath 1300 sq ft home on just under 4 acres with 200' of frontage on the largest fresh water lake in the West. Open floor plan with large windows and large surrounding decks leading out to the dock which stretches 60 feet into the water. Four picnic tables with benches and deck chairs for relaxing plus benches and chairs. The house is modern with two full bathrooms, all appliances are less than 10 years old, oak hardwood floors, carpet in all bedrooms, three sliding glass doors that provide access to about 1,000 square feet of deck. Large “L” shaped dock with a shore station lift that will fit I/O boats up to 20’ and up to an 8’ beam. A boat can be launched right at the waters edge, or there is a free public boat launch directly across the bay from the home and another larger launch 2 miles south at Big Arm State Park. Lots of nice lawn to move around and for parking cars, tents, or RV's. Very private setting and a very quiet neighborhood. Hour and half drive to Glacier National Park. Whitefish ski and summer resort one hour north, along with another small ski area, Blacktail Mountain, 30 minutes north. Four golf courses within 50 miles ranging from nice and easy to PGA caliber.

Nice quiet area with lots of natural beauty. Easy to relax in this spot.

What makes this house unique

House and outside decks are close to the water, not a sharp drop off to the water, nice sloping area. Water at the end of the 60 foot long dock is about 6 to 8 feet deep. The clear water of the lake provides a clear view of the bottom of the lake. There is about 4 acres of land, the lawn is about 3 acres with lots of trees.

The house is situated only 35 feet from the edge of Flathead Lake. There are children swings, a fire pit with lots of wood for beach fires, lots of chairs and benches.

Had a great time. The house was awesome and was very well stocked. Enjoyed the 4th of July fireworks around the lake. The only suggestion would be fans in the bedrooms.

Big Arm and this House is all one needs to relax

The house was amazing and exactly like the pictures. The views are stunning and there is nothing one needs here, except to relax. The house is a bit dated (kitchen counters, carpet and full bath) BUT the views and location make up for it. As well as everything one needs for cooking. I have never rented a house with a fully stock kitchen before. There is Boating, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, beach fires, walks to Big Arm State Park.. A short boat ride and one is at wild horse island (A MUST). One never needs to leave. As other reviews, I would rather pay a cleaning fee but the house is small enough to clean as long as there isn't an early flight out. We used the quick wash but still sat around for an hour for linens to dry.

We all slept so well with the cool nights and sound of the water.

Doug was extremely helpful with all our questions before arriving. He met us upon arrival and told us about the house, area, cherries, etc. the neighbors are extremely friendly as well.

I would say we would rent again but I can't. We have fallen in love with Flathead and are planning on buying our own home for the summer.

However, I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone.

We had a wonderful time in a very lovely spot.

The cabin could use updates on the full bathroom and the deck. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishes and the the floor plan was great! If guests are expected to change the sheets on all of the beds then an extra set of sheets for each bed should be provided. Washing all the sheets took most of the morning. The location of the cabin is beautiful and the amenities lakeside are wonderful. We hope to return for another stay.

Owner's Response: Great idea about the extra sheets. Will do that. The washer and dryer are front loaders and are heavy duty. The washer has a setting for QUICK WASH which I have found to be adequate for a normal wash. The dryer has a settings for FAST DRY. I will post the above on my information sheet. Thanks, Doug
