You will definitely enjoy this recently remodeled townhouse located in a quiet and safe area close to the heart of Old Town Scottsdale - walking distance to the pool, park and green belt - close to everything from world-class golf, art galleries, spring-training stadiums, high-end shopping at the Fashion Square mall, dining, entertainment, museums and Arizona's great outdoors.

Our 1,575 sq. ft., three bedroom townhouse is situated on the best lot in the community and has recently been remodeled, with a gorgeous kitchen, new tile, carpet and windows. The master bedroom suite is upstairs and is spacious and private, with a king-size Temperpedic mattress and TV. The master has a large walk-in closet, separate shower area and double sinks. The two bedrooms on the main floor are about equal size with a queen bed in one and two long twin beds in the other. Full bath in between.

The living room has a brand new Sony 65" 4K LED LCD HDR SMART TV with built in Wi-Fi so you can watch your favorite shows on Netflix or Amazon (if you don't know what all those letters mean, it just means it's an absolutely fantastic picture). There is Wi-Fi coverage throughout the townhouse via high-speed cable. The kitchen is fully equiped. There is an island for casual dining or a table in the kitchen area. The bedroom with the queen bed also has a 55" Plasma TV.

A sliding glass door off the kitchen takes you to a quiet and private patio area with a Weber BBQ grill. The patio has been remodeled with new tile, all new patio furniture and seating for 9! Strings of lights add a wonderful ambiance. A relaxing place to start the day with a good cup of coffee!

Outside the patio gate are two covered parking spots reserved for this unit. The Continental Villas East community has a southwestern Spanish-Colonial architecture, with lush landscaping, well-lighted streets and illuminated 'finger' lakes. A clubhouse and pool are only two blocks away. One of the best features is how safe and quiet it feels. For those with health concerns, there is a world-class hospital about a mile away from the townhouse, providing quick access to excellent healthcare services if needed. Conveniently located within a half-mile is a Lowes and a Frys.

Other amenities include a free trolley, which stops within walking distance every ten minutes, seven days a week, providing free transportation to the Old Town area.

Notes:
We have a Lexus RX330 that we keep at the townhouse, which can be rented while you are there. So if you drive down with one car, this is a nice way to have the use of two cars. We have rates below the rental car companies, which can be very expensive in Phoenix. This is a benefit that most other rentals do not have!

Great stay at a great place

We stayed at Rick's place for 4 weeks and it is even nicer than the pictures. The townhouse is located very close to so much we wanted to do around Scottsdale and environs, and the neighborhood is quiet and very close to a large park. The kitchen is well equipped, you could cook a 6 course meal. The king bed in the master is super comfortable as was the queen in one of the guest room, according to my sister. The highlight for us was the patio. The furniture is sooo comfy and there is plenty of seating for about 8 people. Gas grill was clean and we used it several times a week. There was an abundant supply of paper goods - toilet paper, paper towels, and tissues. Plenty of cleaning products, including things like shampoo and hand soap. A few small issues with the TV/internet and minor plumbing drip happened during our stay, and Rick was immediately responsive and could not have been nicer or more accommodating. A most positive experience.

What a great place to stay in Scottsdale. Very convenient to everything. Rick is very easy to work with and his home is actually better then the pictures. The outside patio where we spent every morning and evening is perfect. Very quiet neighborhood and easy to get around in Scottsdale. The beds are great, the kitchen is great, easy to work TV, nice Wi Fi, plenty of hot water for four, and close to lots of great golf. We'll be back next year.

Comfortable townhouse, excellent location

We stayed in this townhouse over Christmas and had a great week. It was a very spacious and comfortable accommodation for our family. It is in a great location close to the greenbelt, restaurants, and shopping. We love walking and birding so went to the greenbelt everyday! The owner was so nice to work with, responding quickly to our questions. The townhouse was very clean and well stocked with supplies when we arrived. The tempur-pedic mattress in the master bedroom is a big plus. Recommend highly!

Excellent Scottsdale location

Very nice town home centrally located to easy access to numerous activities, sights and entertainment. Excellent location for Ironman racers, as it is only 10 minutes from Tempe Town Beach transition area. Also a short walk, run or bike ride to miles of Scottsdale paved trails.

Amazing Accommodation - Spacious, Clean, and Tastefully Furnished

We stayed in this wonderful townhouse for the month of March 2014. It's situated in a great location - close to Old Town Scottsdale, the SF Giants' ballpark, grocery stores, and some excellent restaurants. The city bus, Scottsdale Trolley, a small par-3 golf course and Recreation Centre are all within a short walking distance. Best of all, was the close proximity of the townhouse to the Greenbelt (extensive bike pathway running north/south). We had bikes with us so we enjoyed exploring and getting to know the local area and beyond. (There are also two bikes at the unit)

The townhouse was very nicely decorated, well equipped, beds were comfy, and the enclosed back patio was a real plus. As well as offering privacy, you could enjoy full sun if you liked or seek shade under the awning. The patio was a great place to barbecue and dine on warm evenings.

The owner was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. We're excited for our return visit next year.

Excellent Vacation Rental

We were extremely pleased with this rental. Everything was as advertised and the owners were excellent to deal with. The property was nicely located with quick access to the airport and freeways and a very short drive to Old Town Scottsdale. The nearby parks were great for our small children and the covered patio was nice to enjoy the heat but be sheltered from the sun. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.
