Why Michael Luck chose Poconos

This location is a sportsman's paradise. It is adjacent to one of the best trout pools in Pennsylvania, and I own both stream banks, thereby providing an unusual privacy. The creek is also great for other recreation. Fall colors offer dramatic views from the front deck.

What makes this cabin unique

I built this home in 2008. The location was specifically chosen for it's scenery, and conveniences to Lake Wallenpaupack, groceries, and banking.

Mike was a great host he bought us fresh squeezed peach orange juice in the morning the house is absolutely amazing the workmanship that is in this house is amazing I can't wait to come back so relaxing so peaceful and refreshing

Beautiful log home in a peaceful setting

My wife and two grown sons came out for a couple of days to spend a day boating on Lake Wallenpaupack and otherwise relaxing. This is a beautiful log home on a peaceful lot surrounded by natural beauty. The place has everything you could need and Mike is an accommodating host.

excellent retreat, friendly host, all the ammenities of home, perfect for couples or families

We met with the owner upon arrival. He walked us through the house which was a new log cabin building with a loft.The property is adjacent to a creek, about a two minute walk. The owner lives nearby and has a local sawmill. We stayed at the cabin for a nearby wedding and really wish we had more time. The owner brought fresh juice to us and took us to the saw mill the next morning before the wedding and showed us how it worked. I am not sure it's for everyone, but if you're a woodworker or hobbyist, you will truly enjoy your visit.Hopefully we will be able to book it again when we aren't obligated to do other things on such a short span of time.There are grocery stores and antique shops nearby .

Simply Amazing

If you are hesitant about booking , just do it . Michaels property is simply breathtaking , everything from the view , the house and the surrounding area is wonderful . You can tell the pride Michael has put into the house and as soon as you walk in you feel at home . The cabin is warm , inviting and beautiful . Michael was one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting , he came our first morning to give us a map of the area and suggested some places we should visit . The second morning her left us fresh juice and was just so welcoming and nice . The home has AC , a stocked kitchen , updated appliances and much more . He welcomed us when we arrived so we knew how to use everything and was easily available if we needed anything . Leaving his cabin we were very sad because we didn't want to and we haven't been able to stop talking about it ever since . We are planning on visiting again very soon . Thank you so much Michael for building this wonderful home and allowing others to experience it and all it's beauty. We can't wait to come back.

Located on the East Branch of Wallenpaupack Creek, this home is less than 5 miles to the nearest marina on Lake Wallenpaupack, a 15 minute drive to Promised Land State Park, 5 ski resorts are within a 30 minute drive [Camelback, Alpine, Jack Frost/Big Boulder, Montage, Elk Mountain], two golf courses within 15 minutes. The home is genuine log, sleeps 7, has a washer/dryer, and cable TV. Lighthouse Marine, Sterling Marine, Ledgedale Marina and Pinecrest Marine are all within 15 minutes driving distance.

Tax Rate 6.0%

All charges for damages are billable to the renter's credit card upon check out. For groups of 5 or more, there is an additional $50 per person per night for the fifth, sixth, and/or seventh guest.

$100 cleaning fee applicable to groups of 5, or more. Holidays are charged at the weekend rate. 6% tax is applicable to all rental fees. Minimum 2 nights rental.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
