Master loft, two bedrooms, charming hearth room with propane fireplace-dining-kitchen, large family room, large stone patio with propane grille, large deck above the stone patio is perfect for bird watching on a wetland immediately in front of the home.
The home is owned by Luck Log Homes, wholly owned by Michael Luck. My wood workshop and cabin are only a few hundred yards away.
Michael Luck purchased this cabin in 2008
This location is a sportsman's paradise. It is adjacent to one of the best trout pools in Pennsylvania, and I own both stream banks, thereby providing an unusual privacy. The creek is also great for other recreation. Fall colors offer dramatic views from the front deck.
I built this home in 2008. The location was specifically chosen for it's scenery, and conveniences to Lake Wallenpaupack, groceries, and banking.
This cabin is beautiful, clean, and way bigger than I thought it would be. It's also reasonably priced, and near some decent attractions. I would recommend this property.
wonderful log home

We enjoyed the holiday weekend at Mike's cabin. It was just as described and perfect for a family of four.
The cabin is located on a quiet cul-de-sac gravel road, so it is fairly private. The wetlands behind the cabin provide for wonderful bird watching....we were amazed at the different types of birds that came to visit while we played cards on the patio every night. The fire pit was great for smores and hanging out at night.
The creek is close by, but not as accessible as we hoped - there wasn't a very clear path, so we had to cut through the weeds to get down to it. All in all, it was fine - but would recommend long pants. The creek is very peaceful and beautiful - we watched fish jump in the water and blue herons in the trees - also a few snakes.
The cabin itself was very comfortable - it had everything we needed: well stocked kitchen, clean linens, AC, washer/drier and comfortable living space. Lack of wi-fi at the house (and poor reception in the general vicinity) was definitely a challenge for planning our activities and mapping directions but we survived.
The house is close to Lake Wallenpaupack (15min drive) and Promised Land State Park (15 min drive), restaurants, and cool antique shopping (check out Pieces of the Past).
Mike was a gracious host and was always available to help if needed. I would definitely recommend his cabin to others.
What a wonderful experience! Tastefully decorated and stocked with all the necessities. Three levels, with a big flat screen tv in the living room & a huge master suite on the 3rd floor, with soft, plush linens and a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck, overlooking trees and mountains. We enjoyed the cute shops in the neighborhood towns. We'll definitely come back!
I just came back from our winter vacations in the Poconos and stayed at this house for a week. Our experience was amazing!! The pictures do no justice to the house because it is outstanding. It is beautiful, comfortable, clean and cozy. Michael, the owner, has though about every possible need you may have. This is an all included house where you only need to brig your clothe and food. It had everything you may need like towels, toilet paper, hair drier, Blue Ray, DVD, home t heather, BBQ, fire pit, ect... Love it and would definitely come back if possible. Michael was very nice and friendly.
What a great place! We had a wonderful time in the mountains. Great fishing on the creek and lake close-by. Can't wait to go back!
we booked this trip last minute when we realized we would take off for my girlfriends b day.Michael made this very easy and after talking to him on the phone i felt very comfortable. we arrived with a warm welcome from Michael, i followed him to the home and it was even better than the pictures, inside and out.we sat on the back deck for our meals and drinks which offers a secluded, beautiful view.the central air made the first humid night unnoticable.i figured this would be the place where i would propose to my girlfriend while giving her birthday gifts. the food store is down the street and u can also buy beer there. He brought us homemade juice that smelled and tasted delicious.we took the raft out for about an hour on the creek, which was cool. Michael had me and my girlfriend to his shop where he was cutting logs and told us a little about furniture making and wood finishes.we both agree that this was an amazing trip between the house, stream, weather and Michaels personality. thank you!
