A great experience

  • 5 of 5

We found this house while searching for a place to be HQ for a family reunion. Our original plans were blown away by the hurricane in the Fall of 2017 but the owner was flexible and worked out alternate dates.

The place is big and has plenty of room to spread out. The second story gallery is especially nice in the mornings. Everything was clean and comfortable and the AC worked very well, a big plus in Summertime NOLA,

The location is convenient, just a short Uber ride from the French Quarter and within walking distance of Magazine St. iIt was a very nice place to stay.

Picturesque, beautiful & spacious home

  • 5 of 5

Our large group of friends loved Tom & Roberta's quaint home. The four bedrooms and three bathrooms were the perfect size for our group. The upstairs patio porch was a really nice perk for enjoying the nice weather.

Tom & Roberta were accommodating, responsive and understanding hosts.

The location is in a perfect spot for walking through the St Charles/uptown area - close to the trolley and on average a 15 minute/$10+ ride-share trip - totally reasonable.

I loved sitting in the dining room area in the late afternoon with sunlight streaming through all of the big windows.

Definitely recommend!

Excellent home for large family in great location!!!

  • 5 of 5

We needed a house for my husband and me, our three daughters and their partners, and a son and a friend coming and going. This house was spacious enough to accommodate the various people and was in the perfect location. There were plenty of dishes and glassware, and the kitchen and dining area were more than sufficient for our group that reached up to 12 people for meals and socializing. The neighborhood was relatively quiet (there were some vehicles driving fast along the streets in the early morning) and the house itself was lovely. The only comment my daughter (who is 5' 2") made was that there were no mirrors for her height, as most of them were hung higher up. And when we dressed for a formal affair, I realized there were no floor length mirrors, which can easily be installed on the back of the closet doors. But those are minor vanity issues, that do not detract from this lovely, very convenient, hospitable old home!

Wonderful long weekend in New Orleans!

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 7 thirty-somethings thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tom's home. There was plenty of space for us, and we felt truly immersed in the experience of New Orleans! You can't get this experience in a hotel.

The location is excellent for exploring the Garden District, and the French Quarter is a quick ride away. Be sure to check out Magazine Street while you are there.
